Visited Cartagena for a week and this place came highly recommended from our driver. As soon as you walk in it’s beautiful. Everything is lined with gold and the dimming of the lights makes it the perfect setting for a romantic dinner or a girls night out. The live band and dancers bring the atmosphere to life. The menu is mostly seafood which we didn’t mind especially because we had some dietary restrictions in our group. I celebrated my birthday there and they gave me a beautiful plant and picture frame that read Happy Birthday. I ordered the shrimp in garlic sauce and it was so yummy! We had snapper and lobster and it was all so fresh! I can’t remember the name Of the drink I had but it was non alcoholic and like a slushy( SOOOO GOOD) the waitresses/ chef were nice and very accommodating to our dietary restrictions. 10/10 recommend this place if visiting Cartagena! Oh and they bring the receipt in a cute cigar box that I tried to buy from them but they wouldn’t budge lol. So a picture will last me a lifetime for sure in this instance.

The essence of Cartagena is here in its cuisine and rich culture. And you feel like having dinner at your grandma's. This place is definitely the best restaurant in Cartagena if you want to enjoy a hearty meal, good music,excellent customer service and have a unique experience. In few words, CANDE is an authentic Caribean journey,and it will be one of the most memorable experiences at the walled city.

This restaurant you need reservations. The ladies were greeted with a rose . I don’t know if it is a custom of the restaurant. First time tourist there. Well represented. Two floors and entertainment upstairs and downstairs. Good was excellent. Saturday night was packed.

Cande is a truly lovely spot with a fantastic ambiance. The live music adds to the charm, and the gourmet twist on local cuisine is a delight. The service is top-notch, and I've thoroughly enjoyed my experiences here. However, I do recommend checking the menu carefully, as the portion sizes can vary significantly. Some dishes are more substantial, while others are smaller, so it's essential to plan your order accordingly, to decide if you want to order just one plate or add more. Overall, Cande is a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy a great meal.
