Just had an awesome dinner at Abli in Cebu City—def worth the trip if you're craving elevated Cebuano vibes! Started with drinks: the Kuan was , super refreshing and unique. The Tinolang Vodka though, basically just fancy calamansi juice. Wanted the Salted Egg Chicken Skin (sold out ) so went with Ginabot Sa Abli instead. Sweet glaze wasn't our jam. Mains: Crispy Cebu Express was solid but nothing crazy, tom yum-ish sauce was ok. BUT the Hmmmmmba? GAME CHANGER. Presentation is and flavors pop—soft-boiled egg was perfection. Only nitpick: bigger pork chunks were a tad tough. Smaller, uniform slices would make it next-level. Ended with Original Queso De Bola Morta for dessert—SO yummy, cheesy heaven in every bite. Overall 4.5/5—come for the Hmmmmmba and stay for the local twists! Instagrammable place! Good place for dessert and coffee. Tried the Buko pie coffee, it was good! I went here after the typhoon Tino. They were not fully operational but the service was great. I dont suggest eating lunch here. Pricey and small quantity of food. The cebu express was also very spicy and the staff didn't warn me. Did not enjoy it. 😅 I love the Morta Yema. The best 💯💯💯 While exploring the vibrant Capitol area, we stumbled upon Abli, a modern Filipino café that dares to reimagine the flavors we grew up with. The creativity is undeniable — their “morta” (murag torta) is a playful twist on the beloved Cebuano torta, layered with yema and topped with indulgent sweetness that makes every bite feel nostalgic yet new. Located right across from the heritage favorite STK ta Bai, Abli stands out with its sleek interiors and warm, VIP-style service. The staff truly knows how to make guests feel special — attentive, courteous, and efficient. But here’s where the charm falters: the prices. The food may be delicious, but it comes at a jaw-dropping cost. ₱150 for a torta, ₱520 for palabok without an egg, and ₱90 for a single empanada — it’s gourmet pricing that makes you pause mid-bite to check if there’s gold sprinkled somewhere. Still, if you’re in for a culinary adventure that gives Filipino comfort food a luxurious spin — and you don’t mind paying the premium — Abli is worth a visit. But for everyday indulgence? Let’s just say it’s a treat best reserved for special occasions… or when your wallet feels generous.

Got their classic and yema mortas, three in one cold brew, and their bibingka inspired coffee drink! Delicious and can fill you up even as a snack! Staff were friendly and accommodating as well.

This place is worth a stop when you are visiting Cebu. Their wings were delicious! How I wish their mortas are available in Manila.
