Package includes a visit to the sacred tombs of the sarcophagi of Karajía, a unique funerary style in Peru and the world that have resisted time and still complete from the top of a cliff their ancient domains, the statues of Karajía reach a height of 2.50 meters each, and still preserve within them the mummified bodies of the most important rulers of the pre-Inca culture of the Chachapoya, are more than 1500 years of history to discover, a short distance from this place we will visit the cavern of Quiocta, another natural wonder where it is evident the occupation of human groups from ancient times that made use of the site for different activities such as: magical religious ceremonies, funeral and residential place, currently this cavern is the first in Peru and the second in South America that has an artificial lighting system that makes it an accessible place for all.

During the morning you will travel through the Chachapoyas forest for about an hour in direction of the Sarcophagi of Karajía. These sarcophagi are elaborate two-meter high clay sculptures that rest on the edge of a rocky cliff of limestone, looking towards the abyss. The visit in the place will last approximately 40 minutes after which you will head back to Chachapoyas.

Start your day with a transfer from your hotel in Chachapoyas to the beginning of the trail leading to Gocta Waterfall. Enjoy a hike of approximately 2 to 3 hours through diverse landscapes, including cloud forests and agricultural areas. Upon arrival, admire the impressive waterfall, which stands about 771 meters tall. Have time to explore and take photos.
