Day before yesterday, I visited Vito Wood Fried Pizza, located at Arcade Independence Square. It’s an Italian-style restaurant. We ordered a large pizza along with chocolate and vanilla milkshakes, and everything was very yummy. The interior design is beautiful, and the outdoor seating area is really nice. It’s one of the best places for dinner and dine-in. The staff are also very friendly. Overall, it was a great experience.

Visited Vito’s Pizzeria with fairly standard expectations, but the experience was mixed overall. 3/5 if the attitude of the team member was better, 2/5 because of My experience With him. Starting with the pizza unfortunately, this was the biggest letdown and earns a 2/5. The base was noticeably soggy and waterlogged, which completely affected the eating experience. You could actually see the excess moisture in the pizza, and it made the dough unpleasant to bite into and chew. The toppings and flavours themselves were alright, but the poor base overshadowed everything else. If the dough had been cooked properly and had a firmer structure, I could see the pizza possibly reaching a 3/5 or even a 4/5 at best but in its current state, it’s not something I’d risk eating again. The pasta was comparatively okay and gets a 3/5. Mainly because of The portion size that was generous, this played a big role in saving the dish. Flavour wise, it was not bad, but not memorable either. That said, it was filling and acceptable for a casual meal. Would I return? Pizza — definitely not. Pasta — maybe, only to try a different flavour and see if it improves. Overall, there’s potential here, but consistency and execution especially with the pizza base need serious attention. Service too I would say it was alright, had an issue with one members attitude when they sat us next to the billing counter and it was hot there with the kitchen been next to it and the door constantly opening and closing so when I requested another table because of it he threw some attitude my way and made me sit and wait again for which I smiled and agreed.

Highly recommended! One of the best pizza spots in Colombo. Had a wide range of pizzas in the menu, and tried different options during many visits. & liked all of them. Loving their thin crusts and the sides as well. Also tried the blue mojito and passion, and was so refreshing. The atmosphere is cozy indoor and have a peaceful outdoor seating area as well. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Served the pizzas really quick. Would definitely go there again ♥️👍🏻

We visited Vito pizza for the first time, and it was a really nice experience! Definitely a place I’d recommend if you want to try authentic-style pizza in a cozy, well-maintained, and air-conditioned setting. It was quite busy when we went (weekend rush), so we had to wait around 10 minutes for a table We ordered the Bacon & Cheese and Hot & Spicy Chicken pizza and it was delicious! I personally loved the Bacon & Cheese half a bit more 😋. The pizza crust was perfectly done, crispy on the outside and soft inside, not like those “bready” Pizza Hut buns 😅. We also tried the lasagna, which tasted good, though the portion size was average compared to the pizzas. They served three sauces - kochchi, mayonnaise, and tomato, and that kochchi sauce was absolutely mouthwatering! The prices were reasonable (Large pizza – Rs. 2400/=) with a 10% service charge. The staff was friendly, and our order was ready quickly, didn’t have to wait long to enjoy the first bite ❤️ Overall a great place with tasty food, friendly service, and a comfortable vibe. Highly recommend! 🍕✨

The best pizza I’ve ever had! 🍕 The crust was perfectly crisp, the cheese melted beautifully, and every bite was full of flavor. The place itself is cozy and well-kept, creating a nice atmosphere to relax and enjoy your meal. The staff are super friendly and supportive — they make you feel genuinely welcome. Don’t forget to try their fresh lime drink; it’s perfectly balanced and really refreshing! Definitely a must-visit spot in Colombo if you love authentic wood-fired pizza. 👌
