We had the most incredible dining experience at Maravu on our last night in Fiji. The food was exceptional, particularly the Massaman beef curry and cucumber salad. The wait staff were attentive and friendly. The atmosphere of the restuarant gives a truly symbolic Fiji experience with breathtaking sunset views. Definately a must for dinner when visiting Denarau. The staff did everything they could to make the night enjoyable and relaxed, including serving the children's meals first, catering to everyone's tastes and even noticing that some of us were feeling cold, so they turned the fan speed down. The atmosphere was great - it was so nice to see the staff sing Happy Anniversary to a neighbouring table ... I had the salt and pepper squid for entree, the beef massaman for main and the chocolate peanut butter mousse for dessert - would have loved to try the Lemongrass Brulee, but my niece got the last one :) - It was all delicious. A thoroughly enjoyable and heartwarming experience for our family's last night in Fiji. The staff did everything they could to make the night enjoyable and relaxed, including serving the children's meals first, catering to everyone's tastes and even noticing that some of us were feeling cold, so they turned the fan speed down. The atmosphere was great - it was so nice to see the staff sing Happy Anniversary to a neighbouring table ... We came to this restaurant for its atmosphere. We made a dinner reservation for 6:00pm so we could take pictures with the sunset. We ordered the family style set menu (4 starters, soup, 4 mains, 2 dessert, and 2 alcoholic drinks) for approx. $44 USD per person, which I think is pretty reasonable considering it's in a resort and located right on the beach. I would have to pay far more in a Laguna Beach Restaurant. The food tastes better than I expected and it does have authentic Asian flavors. It's great being able to eat right on the beach. The only drawback was that the little lamp on the table was not very bright, so it was hard for us to see our food after the sun set. Contrary to other reviews, our service was actually pretty fast. It might be because we called ahead and came early.

Amazing dining experience here. We ate here 3 nights out of our 10 night stay. Staff are friendly, accomodating and really went to extra mile for our family. Massaman curry was one of the best we’ve tasted. Fabulous man managing the restaurant as well as Teresa, Matelita and Lina. Must try when staying at Hilton!
