Le Corto

Had a wonderful early dinner with our group at le corto. Aged duck with orange sauce and wellington beef were nicely done although escargots were somewhat a letdown. Overall v pleasant dinner and beautiful restaurant. Love the dessert and music (saxophone). Would return for a visit with the better half for a romantic dinner. Total damage 1.2mln dong for 3 course dinner. If u have time, go for the 5 course at 2.25mln dong for a more complete experience.

Well that was a lovely surprise and I don't just mean the belated birthday surprise! It must have been 8 or more years since our last visit to Le Corto and boy have we been missing out. The service, the staff, the ambience and the food were all 5 star. If like us you've not been in a while, get yourself back ASAP! You'll not be disappointed. Could do with a new bit of carpet on the stairs though!

I had business executive lunch with 3 courses. I was quite disappointed with the butter, but the sourdough was very good. I wish the ceviche starter could have been a bit more vivid as in a bit blend in my taste to boost up my taste buds. Beef Wellington and the desserts were great!

Dinner was absolutely amazing! We ate Burrata salad and lobster and prawns soup for starters, both were delicious and very well served! Following that, we tasted the beef wellington which was incredible, really tender. For closing, we took the cigar which is a signature dessert. We never tasted and seen anything like this one, really impressive! And because it was our honeymoon, we were offered a small cake and two glasses of champagne. We were attended by Lyn and Hugo. The service was really outstanding, in all aspects, nothing to say other than a big thank you for this special moment!

Food is perfectly fine! Loved the burrata salad, the lamb rack and the desserts! The onion soup is a bit salty to my liking though. We went there for my bff’s bday and they treated us with amazing desserts for the bday (which is very thoughtful of them) The vibe is just right for both group or single diners! Our server is Tran Hugo and she does a good job in offering us pleasant experience. She attends to our needs and explains the food quite well.
