A full meal (casado) cost around 3,500 CRC, and the best part—no additional taxes! The food was delicious and authentic, definitely a great way to experience local flavors. The only downside is that they close fairly early in the afternoon, so make sure to go for lunch rather than dinner. Loved this place for casados and typical Costa Rican food! During my stay in La Fortuna, I tried several local restaurants offering traditional Costa Rican food, known as sodas. This particular one was by far the best value for money. A full meal (casado) cost around 3,500 CRC, and the best part—no additional taxes! The food was delicious and authentic, definitely a great way to experience local flavors. The only downside is that they close fairly early in the afternoon, so make sure to go for lunch rather than dinner.
