In a hotel, we had to walk through a gate and walk to the very end by the water. The food is pricey but it's understandable as the view is gorgeous and the food comes out presented very well. Service is a bit slower but it's more of a place you sit and soak in the views. We had the smoothie bowls and they were played beautifully. A great place to relax and enjoy the lake. Food was good. Took a pretty long time to come out. The atmosphere and staff were great. The views of the lake are incredible. Beer selection was great. Food was tasty. Yiu will be paying a premium compared to other food in the town. Presentation of the food is nice. I would come back. Average meal with a drink per person for lunch will be about $20 USD / 155 Q . Lots of vegetarian and vegan options . Protein choices were pretty solid . I thought their cocktails were well balanced as well. Guests of the Kula Maya Hotel can also enjoy free coffee with their breakfast, which is a nice plus. Not sure what the lower reviews were complaining about, but it could have been an older menu. For a restaurant that’s so remote in Lake Atitlan, this is definitely 5 stars.

Food was good. Took a pretty long time to come out. The atmosphere and staff were great. The views of the lake are incredible. Beer selection was great. Food was tasty. We stopped in twice while in San Marcos because their drinks were so good! Our favorite was the spicy piña. Views of the lake/volcano are great during the day as well as at night with the stars. They accept credit card.

The lake view is amazing. I ordered breakfast bowl, personally not liking it very much, because of the sauce. However the fried potatoes are very freshly made and crispy, so they definitely make fresh food.
