Pink Salt

Name of the place is Pink Salt, and we got no pink salt. Personally, I have dined at the steakhouse in the Marriott in London, and the quality of the steak was unbelievably good there! In fact, there are local, cheaper, options that I would say serve better tasting slabs of meat. I do not mind paying a "premium for decent high grade Wagyu steak", but it needs to taste incredible. This is not to say we opted for the steak that costed over 100 rials, but it seems to feel like maybe that's the option for the best experience here. One of the problems was that the steak I ordered, despite ordering a medium-rare preparation, was overcooked. When we informed them about this issue, we were told that this is in fact the "correct" way to cook the steak. Okay. Now it isn't all bad to be fair. The staff? Incredibly friendly, and very hospitable. They would constantly check on us, and they were VERY well-mannered. So, kudos to them. The sweet potato fries were quite bland in flavor, but the truffle fries were REALLY tasty! But the the cheesecake hands down takes the crown!!! When we were told about the cheesecake being EXACTLY like their main branch, I got extremely excited. The slight disappointment that followed was during the waiter's approach I could see that it looked different, but the flavor was HELLA-GREAT! I think we ended up leaving the plate sparkling clean by the time we were done with our dessert. If they just add more pie crust, this cheesecake would become even more perfect if that's even possible. In conclusion. I might go back to this place, but not necessarily for the steak... rather for that CHEESECAKE!

We celebrated our anniversary here, the entire team, including chef Victor, were super thoughtful and attentive. From the time we arrived, we were taken care of, and the team surprised us with an exquisite cheesecake in the end along with a card and Omani Spices nicely packaged. Thank you Pink Salt and see you soon ✨

So Delicious food in beautiful presentation and amazing service. The staff were friendly and very informative in explaining each dish in and out as they served it, providing recommendations and responding to queries and requests. Thank you Tashreeqa for such a great service.

We did the valentines meal. The food was amazing! Some of the best food I’ve eaten in Muscat. we lived in Italy too so expectations are high. Ria was fabulous as were all the staff. Just please Marriott let your regular customers and members use their membership on additional drinks coffee etc, it keeps us coming back!!
