Ramssa offers the best Omani traditional food I’ve tried in Muscat. The flavors are authentic and perfectly balanced—the spice mixes are superb and elevate every dish. The owner personally checks on each table and gives excellent recommendations, which truly enhances the dining experience. The food is absolutely amazing, and the portions are generous. A must-visit for anyone wanting to experience genuine Omani cuisine at its finest. Everything we had was delicious, and the service was great. We were served by the head server (i’m sorry but I cannot remember his name anymore), and he was very helpful and friendly, without being overly attentive. The owner ordered the set menu for us, and even selected our drinks (pineapple+ginger and lemon+frankincense juices), and I feel both drinks were divine. I would come back if I ever find myself in Muscat again. First spot I visited after landing in Muscat. The place has a cool traditional interior and a nice vibe. No wait time or reservation needed. I tried the camel meat with honey and luqaimat with karak for dessert both were really good! The staff were friendly, responsive, and quick. Prices are reasonable. Overall, a great first stop in Muscat!

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant, enjoyed various dishes, tuna was delicious! Khalid, an Egyptian waiter is the best! His memory and sense of humour made our lunch even brighter! Special thanks to the restaurant for the complimentary dessert!

Incredible food in traditional and comfortable surroundings. The seated dining was great and every bite we had in this place was exceptional. The camel mishkak skewers were divine served with the qabouli rice. The fish was superbly fresh and tender. The luqaimat desserts were piping hot, fresh out the oil and coated in the most luscious date syrup. Prices are fair and very reasonable.
