Dining at The View is such a memorable experience! The restaurant slowly rotates, giving you a full 360° panoramic view of Nairobi. You get to enjoy every angle of the city — all while seated comfortably and watching the scenery change around you. It’s especially magical in the evening when the city lights come on. The food is absolutely delicious — beautifully presented, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish we tried was fresh and well-balanced, and the portions were just right. The service really stood out too — the staff are warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive without being intrusive. They make you feel valued from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave. Whether you’re celebrating something special, entertaining visitors, or just want to treat yourself to a unique dining experience, The View is the perfect spot. Between the rotating view, the amazing food, and the excellent service, it’s truly one of Nairobi’s gems.

Is it worth it? Personal preferences apply! .. So its our 3rd anniversary so me and wifey decide to so some fine dining for a change. I essentially was just interested with the experience and also understand how the wall and floor of the restaurant move. Parking is very secure Easy to access. Food portion was okay if you are not super starving. The food was well done, atleast by my standards. I'd recommend a reservation for dinner especially if its a weekend. The service was great and the staff are present and very responsive. Ambience is EVERYTHING at the View-Movenpick so I'd say the money spent is 70% paying for the ambience. .. Would I visit again?? Definitely 😁

Had a wonderful dining experience at The View Restaurant — easily one of the most scenic spots in the city. The panoramic views alone make it special, but the food and service take it even higher. We tried the Beef Rossini (Kenyan Inspired), Chicken Milanese, a pasta dish and their platter — and every dish was beautifully presented and well balanced in flavor. The Rossini stood out with its rich, layered taste of tender beef, creamy mushroom sauce, and a hint of chicken liver that gave it real depth. The Chicken Milanese was light, crisp, and perfectly complemented by the vegetable ratatouille and herb jus — ideal for those who prefer something delicate but satisfying. Their signature platter rounded everything off with a comforting, homely touch. The staff were warm, attentive, and professional throughout — genuinely adding to the experience rather than rushing it. Combined with the rotating view and calm evening breeze, it made for a truly memorable dinner. ✨ Highly recommend for special evenings, quiet celebrations, or when you just want a beautiful place to unwind with good food and even better company.

We didn't enjoy any of the seafood much, (I've had all of the dishes except the red snapper over the week) but the other dishes, services, and atmosphere was worth the ticket price (average of the 3 visits $130). Also, I'm not sure you'll find a better view in all of Nairobi. The dish in the pic is octopus.

The views were spectacular. The place is cozy and the restaurant revolves so slowly and quietly. The food was top notch, service from Jorum was excellent. I recommend booking a table. Perfect for that special occasion.
