We loved our meal and the amazing service by Nandi! Everyone was very attentive and kind. Nandi gave us wonderful recommendations and clearly knew the menu well. The food was delicious, reasonably priced and good portions. We had the bread pudding pancakes which were like a mix between French toast and pancakes and were very indulgent. The biscuits and gravy were delicious and the hot honey fried chicken was the perfect balance of heat and sweet. The fried green tomatoes were also great! Would highly recommend! We had a party of four and each tried something different, and everything was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend the fried green tomatoes, the fried chicken biscuit sandwich, any eggs benny, and the pancakes! Our server Nandi was also phenomenal! Thank you for amazing service and food! 🙏🏼💛 Absolutely amazing!!! I had the trifecta and it was the best eggs Benedict ive ever had. The St Charles and the Bayou shrimp Benny's were so freaking good! We had a friend in our party with Celiac and allergies and Judit took great care to make sure that she had an amazing meal and experience without worrying about her allergies.

The Ruby Slipper has a warm, friendly atmosphere, and the service was honestly the highlight of my visit. The staff was so kind and attentive. My meal was just okay overall. The fried green tomatoes tasted like they had been sitting out for a bit, so they lost some of that crispy freshness I was hoping for. The shrimp and grits had good flavor and a nice presentation, just not quite as rich or bold as I expected for a New Orleans spot. Still, I appreciated the hospitality and laid-back vibe. It’s worth a stop if you’re looking for solid service and classic Southern comfort food.

my husband and I came here on our honeymoon trip as it was recommended by a friend. We shared the Trifecta and the French toast bites! The food was delicious and really great portions. I also got their spiced vanilla latte which was really good. It was pretty cold in the restaurant so bring a jacket if you get cold easily like me but that was my only gripe. Service was awesome everyone was very kind and helpful, I definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in NOLA.
