Visiting this Island was part of the Honda Bay Island hopping tour. The food was prepared in advance and brought up to the Island. The Island is pretty. Facilities are adequate. Swimming area is separated creating a safe environment. It seems that the locals go the often for picnicking.

The crystal-clear waters are a visual treat, instantly dissipating any stress brought on by city life. The surrounding shallow waters also make it an ideal spot for children's entertainment. My experince is based on a visit there that was part of an island hopping trip in Honda Bay. I have not dealt with any staff member there as the food and drinks were pre-ordered for us. We got water and blue & sweet drink served in big jugs and the food that was delivered on big and decorated trays (buffet-style). The food itself was really nice!! (Good selection of fruits, carbs, meat and fish!!) The atmosphere, as it is located in the middle of the island and few steps away from a beautiful beach, is fabulous! Toilets are just few steps away (bear in mind that these are island toilets). Overall score: solid 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cowrie Island nestles a charming island that was named after the small-to-large sea snail, marine gastropod mollusc they call "cowrie.". It was often praised for its picturesque white sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant marine life, making it an ideal spot for snorkeling, swimming, and other water activities. Many visitors appreciated the relaxing atmosphere and the opportunity to unwind in a beautiful natural setting. The island had amenities like cottages, huts, and a bar where visitors could relax and enjoy their time.

Cowrie Island is one of the Islands around Honda Bay in Puerto Princesa City situated just a convenient 30-minute or less boat ride from the port. When we had our island hopping tour, we ended at this island where we enjoyed a leisurely lunch and spent the rest of the day before heading back. 𝐂𝐨𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐈𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 is an ideal destination for a beach excursion with local or vacationing friends and families. Apart from the white-sand beach and clear waters where you can do water activities, there is also ample ground for various beach activities. There are small to large cottages, a hall, decent shower and changing rooms, and other basic amenities. For those who prefer to bring their own food, the boat crew is happy to cook it for you.
