More than just a winery or brewery, Mastros is a celebration of Cypriot heritage and passion.

On this tour we explore the island's most unspoilt area, the peninsula of Akamas. Due to its mountainous nature, and the fact that it is a protected national park, there are no tarmac roads running through its heartland. Its coastal area is characterized by gulfs and coves, capes and points, beaches and tiny isles. In the south we walk a gorge, visit the Green Turtle's hatchery and swim in crystal clear waters. To the north we visit the Mythological Baths of Aphrodite, and in between, we explore the "lesser travelled" back roads and visit surrounding villages, meet local folk and get to enjoy local cuisine. This is a full day excursion. Comfortable shoes are recommended. Don't forget your swimwear. This tour can be altered for other activities such as wine tasting and/or visits to villages and surrounding historical sites.

Rural Cyprus is at your fingertips on this whistle stop tour. The morning kicks off with first stop at Petra tou Romiou for photographs (available only for guests from Pissouri Hotels). Aphrodite’s mythical birthplace ‘Petra tou Romiou’ is an interesting geological formation of huge rocks along one of the most beautiful coastlines on the island. Then you will continue with a visit of Kourion–one of the most impressive archaeological sites on the island. It’s classic Greco-Roman, with a half-moon of seats facing out to sea. Kolossi Castle is the next stop. This Crusader-era castle is surrounded by flowering plants and a pretty courtyard. Hop back on the airconditioned bus and head to Fini village where lunch will be served at a local tavern. Next stop, the mountain-ringed village of Omodos where you will have a guided walk through the village. Lastly, you will have the opportunity to taste traditional Cyprus wine in a local winery before heading back to the resorts.
