Adventure Kokoda 10-Day Premium Campaign trek is the complete package. The trek follows the original wartime trail and includes all sites of military significance during the Kokoda campaign – battlesites, patrol tracks, major logistic areas Lake Myola and fire support bases. The itinerary includes two nights at Bombers campsite which allows trekkers to spend a day exploring both Myola lakes and inspecting the American P40 Kittyhawk fighter aircraft that crashed on the northern edge of the lakes. Trekkers return to Bombers campsite for a late lunch and a ‘make-and-mend’ afternoon in the glorious tranquillity of the Moss Forest. The trek includes a solemn Dawn Service involving trekkers and our PNG guides and carriers at the Isurava Memorial. This service is regarded as the highlight of the Kokoda trek experience.

We meet all guests upon arrival at the Alotau cruise port terminal. This tour has two daily sessions named Tour#1 and Tour#2. Tour#1 starts at 9.30am and ends at 12.30pm and Tour#2 starts at 1.30pm and ends at 4.30pm. Our tour guides will be available on the day as early as 7am before the cruise ship guests disembark. There will be a pre-departure briefing before the start of the tour. The tour will start from Wahuhuba, the south-eastern part of Alotau, where the Japanese Imperial Army initially landed in Milne Bay in 1942. Then the tour will take guests into the heart of Alotau and then leave the boundaries of the town towards the north-west to the Gurney Airport. Along this stretch of the road is where most of the intense fighting took place. There are stop overs along the tour route including at the Corporal John French Memorial, Peter Turnbull Memorial and Gurney Airport. The tour helps one learn more about WWII history in Milne Bay and remember the sacrifices. Lest we forget.

Our Kokoda History Treks follow the footsteps of the brave as they fought one of the most desperate series of battles across the Owen Stanley Ranges from Kokoda to the doorstep of Port Moresby at Imita Ridge. The route follows the original wartime trail. Our Kokoda History treks cover all the major battle sites at Imita Ridge, Ioribaiwa Ridge, Brigade Hill, Templeton's Crossing, Eora Creek, Isurava, Deniki and Kokoda where you will receive detailed historical presentations. Our Kokoda Trail Treks are led by a PNG trek leader and designed for groups who want to experience the physical challenge of the Kokoda Trail across the original wartime route. While our PNG trek leaders are masters of their environment and will get you safely across the trail they only have a superficial understanding of the Kokoda campaign strategy and battlefield tactics. They have been leading treks across the trail for more than 10 years and are well respected by the Koiari and Orokaiva clan leaders across the trail. Each of our Kokoda Trail Trek group has a PNG medic trained in First Aid - they also carry two VHF radios and a Sat Phone and have 24/7 back up from our base at Sogeri. These treks are best suited for a bunch of mates on a budget who want to experience the physical challenge of the Kokoda Trail and the camaraderie that goes with it.

Milne Bay Province is best all-round scuba diving in PNG. The diversity, abundance and quality of dive sites is astounding. Tawali Resort is in great location both physically and geographically, with pristine surroundings and its position on the north coast, which provides shelter from the prevailing SE winds most of the time. The 27 dive sites (day trip) is always accessible. Tawali Resort is accessible via a boat from Alotau.
