Excellent soup. I had the lamb soup several times, it never disappointed. You also got free refills. You always walked out satisfied and full. Added bonus....FREE WAFFLES with blueberry jam. This restaurant provides refillable soup for guests with only one-time payment. The shell fish and lamb are amazing. Staff are very warm and kind, a good place for someone who visits Iceland with limited budget. If you are on a budget in Iceland, then this place is a good spot to come for a meal - though I would probably only come once. They offer three types of soup: lamb, tomato and seafood, and a few other items. Soup appears to be what most people order, and you can get unlimited free refills of any of them so you can try all three if you want. They are pretty watery so don't expect a stew-like consistency. Personally I didn't like the seafood one - there weren't any "pieces" of seafood in it, it was only broth. The lamb was the heartiest with chunks of lamb, carrots and potatoes. The tomato was much what you would expect from tomato soup. The atmosphere is cool - the servers are nice enough and the place is bright and comfortable. You don't feel any pressure to move on in a hurry. Free waffles with chocolate sauce and free water are a bonus. Now that I've been and know what to expect, I won't come again but it's worth at least one visit for a reasonably-priced meal in Reykjavik which are few and far between!

Free soup refills when you get a soup bowl. If your bread bowl breaks it can be replaced by a bowl. A great place to eat on a budget. Very nice and relaxed place altogether Wouldn't recommend any of the other soups except lamb. As other reviews suggest they are lacking

Free refills, free waffles, cozy and warm place, super friendly staff, what more can you ask for. I recommend the lamb and shellfish soup. Prefer the bowl only as the bread bowl absorbs all the delicious soup!
