I recently dined at Reykjavik Kitchen and had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. I began with the creamy seafood soup, which was rich, comforting, and full of fresh flavor - perfectly complemented by a crisp glass of Sancerre from France. For the main course, I enjoyed the Icelandic lamb shank, served with a velvety potato purée enriched with butter and cream, vibrant red cabbage puree, tender broccolini and a luscious red wine and honey glaze. The Malbec from Argentina paired beautifully, enhancing the deep, savory flavors of the dish. To finish, I indulged in a Skyr cheesecake on a crispy kadaifi and pistachio cream base, topped with a delightful cherry sauce. A glass of Las Moras was the perfect companion - smooth, balanced and a wonderful end to an exceptional meal. The service was outstanding - warm, professional, and attentive. A special thank you to Magdalena, my server, for her excellent recommendations and kind hospitality and to chef Kasia for creating such beautifully prepared and flavorful dishes. Everything at Reykjavik Kitchen was simply exceptional - the food, the wine, and the service. A truly memorable dining experience in Reykjavík. Highly recommended! Michelin quality food in more humble surroundings and a full vegan menu. We arrived without a booking looking for a table for five. It was super busy but instead of turning us away the staff asked us to wait at the bar for ten minutes whilst they reorganised a couple of stray tables and seated us. Great service, lovely atmosphere and excellent food. Had a delicious three course meal with a cappuccino to finish it off. The salmon appetizer, cod main dish, and fruit with custard dessert, were all well prepared and I savored every bite. Worth every penny.

Such a lovely delicious experience. I felt so welcomed being apart of the gluten free community! Items were clearly marked gf/v and I got my very own gluten free bread at the start. I had the most amazing salad and fish soup. Incredible. One of the best meals I had my entire trip. You won’t be disappointed coming here so make the stop! Staff was delightful, the ambiance was relaxing, and I was so full and satisfied after my meal. Thank you so much for the experience.

A busy place - we were lucky to get a table without a reservation. A beautiful atmosphere and really friendly staff enhanced fantastic flavours. Update: we visited again, and were delighted again. Just wonderful. The fabulous staff recognised us from our previous visit and treated us excellently!
