Sweet Maple

Sweet Maple is definitely a brunch spot worth the hype! I ordered their Big Hip— their famous deep-fried French toast— and wow, it did not disappoint. Crispy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside, and paired perfectly with pure Vermont maple syrup, butter, and powdered sugar. Absolute perfection. But the real star of the show? The Millionaire Bacon. Oh. My. God. Hands down the best bacon I’ve ever had in my life— rich, slightly spicy, sweet, and just insanely flavorful. Even if you don’t order a full meal, you HAVE to at least get a side of this bacon. It’s a must-try and totally worth the trip just for that alone!

Close by for a DR appointment and wanted brunch. This place was the closet and we were so fortunate to have walked in. The restaurant is quick service, up-scale and unique dishes. The caramel macchiato tasted great, the deep-fried French toast was different than we'd ever had before, and the test kitchen special ramen and fried rice with the millionaire's bacon was on point. Service was fast and with a smile. We would definitely come back again.

When we saw the line around the block we knew it was worth the wait! Lovely little brunch place! Because of the size of our group we were sat quite fast! Service was ok, food was delicious and tasty, portions were small, and atmosphere was great! My favorite was the citrus batter french toast!

A friend and I walked to Sweet Maple as the sun broke through the summer fog this morning. I can imagine that on a weekend morning, Sweet Maple has a long queue of people waiting, but on this Thursday morning around 9:00am we were seated immediately. We shared a Millionaire Bacon platter (pictured) and all I can say is, if you love bacon, you will be completely delighted as you eat this bacon like a millionaire. My Marnier French Toast was delicious and flavorful. My friend had eggs prepared to perfection. The wait staff was responsive, plentiful and excellent. The environment was clean, modern and well lit.

Generous portions, but the overall experience was underwhelming. Ladies, be prepared — I had to keep my backpack on while eating because the seating was so tight. Our party of eight felt quite uncomfortable. The servers were gathered at the kitchen counter, and even though we were seated right next to them, no one offered us coffee until we specifically asked for it. The restaurant advertises a “million-dollar” breakfast, but the menu is quite standard — nothing particularly impressive or unique. The location is in a residential area with little to see or do nearby. The outdoor seating area looks neglected, with just a few tables and no décor to make it inviting. We were also only given one napkin per plate, which felt insufficient for a full breakfast service.
