After an hour and a half drive from our meeting place, we will reach Umoljani village. From there, we will start our 8 kilometer hike towards the Lukomir village. It is the highest and most isolated village in all of Bosnia and Herzegovina with an altitude of 1496 meters. When we reach Lukomir, you will get a chance to see Stećci. Stećci are monumental medieval tombstones that lie scattered across Bosnia and Herzegovina; an estimated 60000 are found. After exploring Lukomir, we will enjoy eating a tasty picnic lunch with 360 degrees panoramic view and then head back to Umoljani village again, which is an 8 kilometer hike again.

We will have around 10 kilometers of cycling on a asphalt road which was a front line during the war which happend here in Bosnia and Herzegovina 92'-95'. We can have a look at Sniper Alley from above! After that we have 4 kilometers of gravel road and we are at the top of the mountain! We will decide which trail is the best option for us from here.Trails are 3-7 kilometers long. After trails we will head to abandoned bob sleigh track from Olympic games which were held in 1984. This is one of a only few bob sleigh track in which you can actually ride a bike! After ride down the bob sleigh track we are choosing between trails again. When we finish with any of those we are going to the city center through narrow streets of Sarajevo! Total ride is around 25 kilometers with 1170m in elevation gain.

Tunnel of Hope was an underground tunnel constructed between March and June 1993 during the Siege of Sarajevo in the midst of the Bosnian War. In this tour/activity we will learn more about Sarajevo's traditional crafts. One of them is of course the coppersmithing. We will also meet with our local artist, a coopersmith, and with his help make a small and unique souvenir for you to take home :) Coopersmith is an old name for a craftsman, who designs or modifies (modifies) jewelry and small ornaments of silver or copper. This craft is, in fact, a kind of art since small ornaments are made where inventiveness, skill and precision are needed. Earlier, hand tools were used and the work was done mostly by hand. Contemporary technology for the processing of materials and decoration making has recently been used. The coppersmiths also use various types of precious stones in their work. The most common products of these handicrafts are jewelery, such as rings, brooches, necklaces and bracelets.

First stop on tour will be a short walk on the edge of Perućica forest. Perućica is one of the last primeval forests in Europe, at the tentative list of UNESCO World Heritage. We will walk to a viewpoint overlooking the forest and admire the views on Skakavac waterfall as well as the rocky peaks of Maglić, Volujak and Zelengora high above. The hike itself follows the Postmans' route. This is the easiest trail that takes 34h to reach the peak, but it is not for those afraid of the heights. You need to be strong on your feet, and able to walk on hard terrain for prolonged period of time. The first part is very easy, slowly ascending through the forest on the trail that was used by partisans during the WWII to avoid the Nazi troops. Once we leave the forest, the mighty northern face of Maglić appears. We will enjoy the view while we walk on easy trail to the foot of the mountain. After a 2 and a half hour drive from our meeting place, we will reach the starting point of our hike. From there, we will hike for 5 kilometers until we reach Trnovačko lake. This lake is often regarded as one of the most beautiful mountain lakes and world famous as the “heart-shaped lake”. There, we will have our picnic lunch. For those who are interested, you can also go for a swim in the lake. After that, we will head back to our starting point and head back to Sarajevo. Do you wish to hike to the tallest waterfall in all of Bosnia and Herzegovina with a height of 98 meters and have a picnic lunch with an unforgettable view? If so, this tour is perfect for you! From the starting point of the hike, there is around 5 kilometers of slightly downhill terrain which is going to Skakavac waterfall. When we reach the waterfall, we will have our picnic lunch there. After lunch, we will take a different uphill trail which is going to show us a different view of the waterfall, from the top side. That trail is approximately 3 kilometers long. After we have enjoyed the view, we will walk for another 2 kilometers on flat gravel, back to our starting point.
