Tennen Rishin-ryu swordsmanship, which began in the Edo period, has been carried on to this day, and students of Tennen Rishin-ryu practice at the Tennen Rishin-ryu Hino Dojo to hone their swordsmanship skills. You can learn the essence of Tennen Rishin-ryu at the actual dojo. The swordsmen who practiced the Tennen Rishin-ryu in Hino City formed the Shinsengumi, said to be the strongest group of swordsmen, at the end of the Edo period and were known as the Last Samurai. Masao Inoue, the chairman of the Tennen Rishin-ryu Hino Dojo and a descendant of the Shinsengumi executive Genzaburo Inoue, will lead the experience program. After that, we will go to the, the handmade udon shop we experience, and actually experience and enjoy the meal. I want you to feel and enjoy all of our experience resources of making traditional Japanese food in a private space, not just a cooking class. So I wish to create an experience connected with nature and outside of the screens. I want to share the joy of the enchanting beauty of ceramics born from nature. Earth and water are the roots of nature, and turned into pottery by fire. It is incredible and simply inspiring to see soft clay transform into beautiful pottery. The experience of witnessing the feel, the colors, and the wonder is about 10,000 times different than just seeing the final product. Your imagination expands and it’s mind-blowing. The world of ceramics is beautiful and interesting - it is very enriching to have vessels that come from nature in our daily lives. I want to share that joy with you all. The idea of coexistence not only between humans, but also between humans and nature, and all things that have "life".

The city will buzz with fans, artists, and creators enjoying anime at the 22nd Kichijoji International Animation Festival, sharing a passion for one of Japan's most iconic art forms. On this special tour, you can experience the world of anime up close by visiting manga and anime exhibitions at Gallery ZENON, the flagship gallery of Coamix Inc. Depending on your interests, you can also explore hidden anime photo spots, discover unique manhole covers featuring popular characters, browse anime-related shops, and take a stroll through nostalgic shopping streets that have inspired countless stories. Only 1 train ride from Shinjuku! You can enjoy kimono as a preview of sightseeing in Tokyo. If you come early, you can explore the west side of Tokyo (for example, Takahata-fudouson Kongoji Temple, Mt. Takao, etc.) after this lesson. All the kimonos in my collection were hand-picked and purchased by me. Some items were donated by friends, and they all have history and weren’t mass-produced. Not all but many kimonos are made of silk. I want you to feel the texture of Japanese silk. This cultural experience will take place at my house in a traditional tatami room. And we also have tea with Japan sweets. Options : Professional photography during the lesson. Includes portfolio shoot and online raw data for up to 10 pictures per person plus up to 20 snapshots taken during the lesson.

Have the kids occupied while the adults enjoy the beautiful nature, attractions and temples of Mt. Takao and finish off with a famous Takao Soba lunch. We offer not only an all inclusive guided tour in English for the adults but also a “treasure map” style game for children to enjoy with prizes that include Japanese coloring books, snacks, toys and candy . We will even teach them Japanese! We will see the Takao Museum, ride the cable car, visit the monkey and flower park, learn about the temples and on a clear day see Mt. Fuji at the summit. We know how it can be sometimes stressful traveling with children in a foreign country so we will arrange everything! We will take away the worry and make sure you enjoy one of the most beautiful places in Japan! Our guide has been teaching English in a Japanese Kindergarten for 20 years. He loves Mt. Takao and children. He especially wants children from other countries to learn about Japanese language, customs and culture.
