Food was absolutely great …full of flavour and really well prepared. The atmosphere was electric, with a lively energy that made the whole experience even better. Our server was fantastic: friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout the meal, making sure we were topped up with water. The only slightly odd note was the dessert, which felt a bit random compared to the rest of the menu. Still enjoyable, just not as strong as the main courses. Overall, a brilliant visit and definitely worth trying! Cozy Italian Vibes at Grazie Nonna in DC I recently dined at Grazie Nonna in Washington, DC, and it was a charming spot for Italian-American comfort food. Nestled at 1100 15th St. NW, the restaurant boasts a lively, welcoming atmosphere with a fun breezeway setting—perfect for a casual meal with friends. We enjoyed the Sunday Sauce, a hearty pasta dish loaded with rich, slow-simmered flavors. The Drunken Love Pizza was a standout, with its spicy sauce on classic toppings that packed a punch of deliciousness. The Chicken Parmigiana rounded things out perfectly—crispy, cheesy, and satisfying. Though the A/C seemed to be on the fritz, the great vibe, tasty food, and attentive service more than made up for it. A solid choice for Italian eats in DC—I’ll be back! First time here and I really enjoyed it! I got the Caesar salad, calamari, and the Drunken Love pizza, everything was delicious. The pizza was definitely my favorite, especially paired with the garlic sauce that came with the calamari. The vibe was great and everything tasted super fresh. My only small wish is that the salad had a bit more dressing. Overall, definitely worth a visit!

I absolutely love this place! I came here recently for my best friend’s last meal in DC before moving out of state. Grazie Nonna was our top choice and it did not disappoint. Our server was incredibly kind, personable, and attentive from start to finish. We started with the Caesar salad for the table and it was scrumptious: perfectly dressed without being soggy and topped with toasted breadcrumbs that added the perfect texture. For my entrée, I ordered the vodka sauce pasta and added meatballs for protein. 10 out of 10! The vodka sauce was so good I could’ve sipped it from a cup. One of my friends even ordered garlic bread just to soak up every last bit. The pasta itself was perfectly cooked and had that wonderful homemade feel. The meatballs were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I highly recommend adding them to your order. We sat out on the patio, which I sometimes hesitate to do for fear of being forgotten, but our server was consistently attentive and the service remained quick and professional all evening. I can’t wait to go back!

A true taste of Italy! All of the appetizers, entrées, and drinks were excellent—flavorful, fresh, and well-prepared. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the evening even better. The only downside was the dessert; the brownie fell short for us as it was a bit dry and lacked the cannoli cream flavor we were expecting. That said, everything else was outstanding, and we’d definitely come back for the food and atmosphere.
