Super friendly staff, very thorough with explaining their menu. Beautiful interior. The food? Absolutely amazing and some of best food we've had. It's soooo good! We had their signature whole fried chicken, pulled meat buns (personally served by a waitress), beef tripe, 2x biang biang noodles, duck blood jelly, beef and pea loaf, pig intestine, 2 beers, 2 sweet wine -all for less than $80AUD. Beer drinker must try their Xi'an beer, comes in a big can! (Maybe 800mls?) Their house made sweet wine (3-4%) is a MUST TRY. Comes in a bottle that is like Sake. Children friendly.

This restaurant near the Bell Tower in Xi’an is absolutely massive. The interior is beautifully decorated, creating a warm and elegant dining atmosphere. Despite not having a reservation, our group of five was kindly offered a private room, which was a pleasant surprise. The menu features a wide variety of Shanxi dishes, with highlights including a whole deep-fried chicken and the famous Biang Biang noodles. Both the food and service exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience authentic local cuisine in a comfortable setting.

Amazing Xi'an Food! Just had an incredible meal at Zhang An Belfry! As a Malaysian who favours Chinese food, I can vouch for its authenticity. We tried the Hanger Cow Beef stomach (so tender!), the unique and spicy Duck Blood, spinach in Pumpkin Sauce, and the delicious Beef Mini Burgers. Washed it all down with a fantastic local Xi'an beer. The service was top-notch—our waiter gave us brilliant recommendations and great advice on portions. Highly recommend this place for a true taste of Xi'an! Intoxication.

Fusion restaurant in the ancient Forbidden City of Xi’an. Almost all kinds of local flavors can be found in this one restaurant. The traditional roasted chicken may tell you what a mixed pickled, steamed and fried tastes like. The bath chap is also the common choice in China if you want drink some alcohol. Oh and don’t forget try its homemade fruit wine. The waitress is willing to answer any questions regarding their foods so don’t hesitate to ask. You will pay a little more than other restaurant since this one offers such good service and plenty of choices.

醉长安 Great service and food. I consider this to be the best place to try Xi'An food. Very friendly waitress recommended us dishes which we enjoyed. Braised pig trotters on rice and vegetables in pumpkin sauce were large in portions. Biang biang mian was great too. Quiet environment, family friendly. No smoking inside.
