Took German relatives for Southern food. The atmosphere is good but the heated patio we were on was a bit cool but quiet though full. Service was great, recommendation by the server were spot on. Drinks, followed by Fried Green Tomatoes, and our main courses (mine being the bourbon peppercorn glazed meatloaf with salad and grits) were great. No room for dessert ! After glasses were refilled as needed but no one hovered. Highly recommend (recommended to us by our hotel valet-he will get an extra tip for that)!

First full day of exploring Asheville and we stopped here for lunch. Placed was packed and we didn’t have reservations, but thankfully there was a cancellation and we got right in! James our server was so nice and friendly! We’ve seen good things on YouTube about this place and it did not disappoint. We ate the biscuits before I could get a photo, but they were a great starter along with the fried green tomatoes! Our meals were all delicious and my wife loved her specialty moonshine martini! Thanks!

My wife and I have made Tupelo Honey a must-stop every time we’re in Asheville for the holidays. As Southerners, we are incredibly picky about fried green tomatoes, but this is the first place we’ve found that actually does them the "correct" way. The food is consistently excellent: Shrimp & Grits: One of the best versions of this dish I’ve ever had. Honey-Dusted Fried Chicken: My wife’s go-to—she gets it every single visit and loves it. Cocktails: The dirty martini is solid, and the chocolate-mint espresso martini was a delicious seasonal surprise. The only downside: Parking is a major challenge in this area. Definitely plan to arrive 20 minutes early just to find a spot. Aside from that, it’s a 10/10 experience!

We waited about 30 minutes for a table and 25 minutes for our food. The service was excellent and the ambiance was perfect for a relaxed Sunday brunch. The biscuits and cocktails were delicious, but my dark meat fried chicken was dry and the Caesar salad was bland, so overall the food didn’t live up to the long wait.

Great experience! I had the chicken and waffles and the rest of our party had the sweet & spicy chicken sandwich, tomato soup, and chicken Cesar salad. We also started with the biscuits and they were incredible. Try the peach jam with them. The food was awesome but I am always most motivated to leave a great review when the service excels and this trip it did! Incredible, polite and attentive and it was very busy! Thanks Kari.
