delicious food, friendly services great hospitality! found this gem in the middle of the market area and the father daughter were so friendly and welcoming! nice air con location to dine with fixed price menu at a reasonable price! - small fish set - beef set - lamb set mango juice is a must order! they got really got mango supplier than makes the most delicious and sweet mango smoothie that easily rivals that of thailand or philippines! every set comes with salad, soup, beans, rice and tahini which have free refills but we’re not big eaters and the serving sizes are already huge! beans are really good and served with a plate warm bread. highly recommend this establishment for lunch if you’re in the area

It’s one of the best Egyptian meal that I had during my 11 days in Egypt. The food is delicious, grilled chicken is so juicy and the fish is so fresh, great mango juice too. Very friendly people and good hospitality. A small and humble local restaurant that serves great food and experience.

Great little place (4 tables) for traditional, tasty, Egyptian favorites, great price, friendly service. Paid $6 including tips for 2 grilled fish and side dishes. Will be back!

This was honestly one of the nicest experiences of hospitality I’ve had in a restaurant in Aswan. From the moment we arrived, the owner and his family (we think his daughter was helping to host) made us feel warmly welcomed and completely at ease. Easy to communicate in English. The food itself was excellent – delicious, freshly prepared, and served in generous portions. Even the “small” meal turned out to be much more than enough, with a beautiful spread of fresh vegetables, bread, hummus, a vegetable curry, rice, and then your choice of a main plate such as fish or lamb. We had the lamb, and fish grilled and fried which was perfectly cooked. Sadly, the shrimp meal had sold out by the time we arrived – something we were very keen to try – but everything else more than made up for it. On top of that, there were so many thoughtful extras: complimentary tea, little side dishes, and wonderful fresh juices that were refreshing and full of flavour. It’s rare to find a restaurant where the generosity feels so genuine, and here it really shines. The place itself is clean, warm, and comfortable – a big plus for tourists who want somewhere where standards are high and communication is easy no haggling and no upsells. The family speaks English very well, which made everything simple and stress-free. All in all, a fantastic spot that combines great food with true Egyptian hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Aswan.

The BEST restaurant in all of Aswan. As travelers that spent some time here in Aswan, this restaurant was the best food and service we had here. We went back again on our stay back through Aswan to say hello and enjoy another warm home cooked meals. This place is not a tourist trap, it is very local, very authentic, no gimmicks, and fair prices (not special tourist prices). The food is amazing — with many different authentic Egyptian dishes, juices and desserts. The restaurant is small and cozy and it just feels like that comfortable place to enjoy a warm meal amidst the chaos at the market. 10/10 recommend definitely stop in — if you’re in Aswan and looking for a sign of where to eat, this is your sign.
