Denny's Hobson Street

I love Denny's! That's the important memory from my school time in the US. The staff there were nice, even though they were not able to receive you at first time since they were busy in the morning and not that many colleagues were working yet. But you know, that's the Denny's culture and atmosphere here—you can feel free, but will not be ignored. Needs to improve: Juice is not good premade so just like sugar water, not recommended. The spinach had a little sand inside(not clean enough) but I trust they are safe after cooking, and they gave me a discount for that, They accepted the advice with a very good attitude. After all, no restaurant can be completely error-free. It's very good to have such an attitude towards things, and it made me feel very friendly. So I still give them a five-star rating. I had originally thought of inviting my friends to come and have another meal in two hours, but unfortunately they couldn't get up on time. After that, we had to catch a flight and didn't get to eat. I missed the appointment with that waiter. I hope we can come again next time!

As we arrived, we got taken to the table almost immediately. It took around 15 minutes for someone to take our order, then another 30ish minutes for our food to come. The lamb shank was chewy I could not finish it so did a takeaway for my dog. The chicken was good and juicy and was able to choose a side which we asked for veges rather than a salad. A salad came so we had to remind them we ordered veges. The veges tasty old as they were bitter, the dressing tasted off. The salad had no dressing and was so bitter unsure why the veges were so bitter. Overall, service and quality wise was way below average and would not return.

Service was great for a 2am craving for pancakes and bacon 😂 The food was below average... I had the 'Grand Slam'. The pancakes were great! But no butter and 1 measly strips of bacon that was chewy and cold. Also the poached eggs were way over done. My date had the 'Good Start Breakfast ' which was a slightly cheaper option and looked much better than mine! So I stole when I was hash browns which was delicious.

The service was great. We had the open steak & egg sandwich & prawn cutlets. Both were tasty and well presented. The ingredients tasted fresh.

The food was delicious. Fast service amazing to see the place was pretty quiet super yummy even had huge jugs of coke if you want love it
