I celebrated my birthday at Mauri, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere is elegant and intimate, and the service was exceptional—attentive, warm, and genuinely thoughtful. We chose the Signature 5-Course Tasting Menu with wine pairing, and every dish was beautifully presented and perfectly balanced. We began with house-made canapés and freshly baked focaccia paired with Prosecco. The tuna tartare was bright and fresh, followed by a memorable Parmigiano ravioli in onion consommé—refined, comforting, and full of depth. The cod with tomato, capers, and potato espuma was perfectly cooked and paired wonderfully with Pinot Noir. Dessert was especially special: a tableside tiramisu that felt personal and celebratory, paired with a lovely dessert wine. The evening ended with Mauri’s house-made coffee liqueur and bonbons, a beautiful final touch that made the night feel complete. Every detail—from the flavors to the wine pairings and the thoughtful service—was seamless. A truly memorable dining experience. Highly recommended for a special occasion or simply a remarkable meal.

What a great restaurant! We had the tasting menu, which was absolutely amazing, and added the wine upgrade — a perfect pairing. The service and overall experience were exceptional. Definitely a 5-star restaurant, and we’d love to come back again!

We ordered off the a-la carte menu as we weren’t hungry enough for the full tasting menu, and didn’t take a lot of photos because we were enjoying the food, but it was quite possibly the best dining experience we have ever had. The food was absolutely exceptional, and incredibly generous with starter snacks, palate cleansers between courses, as well as petit fours to finish. The tiramisu for dessert was a real standout, and we loved the theatre of having it put together in front of us. On the pricey end for Indonesia but about half of what we’d pay for similar quality food and service elsewhere in the world. So excellent value for money in my opinion. The service was without fault, combining the professionalism of fine dining with the warmth of Balinese culture. The owner/head chef Maurizio even came over to our table and chatted with us for a few minutes and was very warm and humble. I have dined in several Michelin star restaurants around the world, including some of the European big names, and this place easily matches the standard of any of them. Such an underrated gem, and we will be recommending to anyone we know coming to Bali. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

We took the signature tasting menu with the wagyu. Our waitress was Lala and she was fantastic, responsible and very nice. The service was 10/10. We got some “welcoming” dishes that were amazing and then they started the tastings according to the chosen menu - it was fantastic. The only things - it was a bit hot there at some point, the waitress checked it and reduced the temp in the AC + the bread was not needed at all IMO so don’t get full from it. It is very expensive compared to other restaurants in Bali, but the most special. Consider to go there only for special occasion.
