As a Louisianian, when traveling, every city claims to have "Louisiana flavor" food. We celebrated my birthday at Storyville. We had a blast and the food was delicious! We ordered several different plates to get a taste of everything...and everything was well seasoned. We had: Fried Okra Gumbo Pasta Jambalaya Cajun Linguini Chicken Wings Mike is the best bartender ever!!!! He made our experience even more awesome which is incredible because the food is already amazing! Storyville is a Chicago gem and I love coming here. Incredible food and drinks! Stumbled on this place when looking for a last minute brunch plan and it did not disappoint! We decided to sit at bar instead of waiting for a table since we didn’t have a reservation, the staff was friendly and inviting, especially our bartender Chantel, who was really sweet and attentive. The food was so flavorful, the portion sizes were huge and everything came out hot and fresh. Planning to check out the speakeasy on my next visit!

Stumbled on this place when looking for a last minute brunch plan and it did not disappoint! We decided to sit at bar instead of waiting for a table since we didn’t have a reservation, the staff was friendly and inviting, especially our bartender Chantel, who was really sweet and attentive. The food was so flavorful, the portion sizes were huge and everything came out hot and fresh. Planning to check out the speakeasy on my next visit!

They allowed my fiancé and I to come in a little early to the speakeasy for our engagement photo shoot. The staff were absolutely wonderful and accommodating and we truly appreciated them for letting us do this. The speakeasy is the perfect vibe that we were hoping for, dark and moody with some older charm. Drinks were also fantastic!

Happy Hour is a must!!! You definitely bang for your buck with good portions. I enjoyed the okra and savory beignets. Red beans and rice were a nice comfort food. It’s not a dish I would get each time, but worth trying if you want some warm goodness. I highly recommend the frozen hurricane!
