La Playa was very good and knowledgeable and pleasant service. Good ambiance and good food. The dip platter was ok but some of us liked it. The Wakabe sea weed platter was amazing and so was the langouste was delicious and the portions were very good. This is our 2nd time. The service here is superb. The food is amazing too! I ordered the special: marlin, seawolf, and crab pancake in a saffron sauce. Out of this world! Highly recommended. Make sure to call ahead and make a reservation. This is our 2nd time. The service here is superb. The food is amazing too! I ordered the special: marlin, seawolf, and crab pancake in a saffron sauce. Out of this world! Highly recommended. Make sure to call ahead and make a reservation.

I do travel into different parts of the world, in private and businesswise. But it took a long time that I related so impressed. There is only one must: you need to be an open minded fish eater. After fulfilling this the place is just perfect: Fish meals (sorry, I think there is on menu one beef proposal) - raw, marinated, grilled, cooked with a variety of preparation from salty via herbal to even sweet. The location wonderfully and logically decorated including the toilets. Well chosen cutlery Friendly service And the entire kitchen and service teams harmonise well, nice to see such an organised and at the same time friendly people at once. Compliments. It's a pity that I cannot have LaPlaya close to my home town. They would have become surely my favourite space.
