Bijian is such a great Malaysian restaurant. My mum and I came here for dinner and the experience was wonderful from start to finish. The service was outstanding, with staff who were attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome the entire time. For entrée, I had the Daging Bungkus Kukus, which was delicious and full of flavour. For main, I went with the Kambing Masak Kuzi. The lamb was tender and the gravy was incredible. For dessert, I tried the Chocolate Durian Cake, which honestly blew me away. I wasn’t sure how the chocolate and durian would taste together, but the textures and flavours worked perfectly. It was a surprising and delightful combination. I love trying new things, so this was a real highlight for me. The ambience is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed dinner. Overall, it was an amazing three-course Malaysian meal with fantastic food, great atmosphere, and top-notch service. My mum enjoyed the vegetarian options, and she felt very happy with the food, the service, and the ambience too. You can watch my POV experience through the video below, and for more content, check out @bhav.xo The food quality okay everything was well-presented. That said, I personally feel the pricing is a bit on the higher side for what's offered. It's good, but comparable to what you can find at other standard restaurants. We were here to try authentic Malaysian food (never had before). The waiter was friendly and helpful especially with gluten stuff as my partner suffers from the celiac disease. The desert was outstanding. A bit pricy (European prices) but the overall experience was good!

Bijan Bar & Restaurant is an amazing place to experience refined Malaysian cuisine in a beautiful and romantic setting. The atmosphere is warm and elegant, perfect for a quiet dinner or special occasion. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was well-balanced, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We especially loved the rendang and the kerabu salad. The staff was attentive and professional, and the service was smooth from start to finish. Prices are higher than local street food, but the quality, ambiance, and overall experience make it totally worth it. If you’re looking for a modern twist on traditional Malay dishes, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommended!

Restaurant staff were very helpful and offered great advice about the dishes. The starter food selection was a tasty variety, the mains were flavourful and for dessert I particularly enjoyed the durian chocolate cake. Noting durian fruit is worth trying and have had before though not in chocolate cake, and it was delicious though may not be a dish for everyone’s liking due to smell.
