During our recent trip to Lisbon, we ate here twice, it was that good! The prawns with garlic, chili, and white wine sauce was so amazing, the first time we were there we ordered it twice! The first visit, the service was great and everyone we interacted with was welcoming and accomodating, even though we didn't have reservations. The 2nd time everything was the same, although I had to remove a star for a bad taste that was left in our mouths (figuratively) when our waiter, as we were paying, sat there and asked "do you want to add anything?" He was referring to a tip. Yes, we have been tipping throughout our time in Portugal, and yes I was going to leave a tip this time, however I was going to do it in cash after we paid, but he made us feel pressured to do it right then and add it to the bill, so we did. (We did this at other locations, so it wasn't a big deal, but we had cash we wanted to use before we left Europe the following day.) We did leave our usual tip, and he thanked us, but it just sort of left a bad impression on us that he literally asked us for it and made us feel uncomfortable about it. Overall, this place is definitely worth it. All the food and wine was amazing, the atmosphere is great, and the service was timely and welcomining in general. For sure get reservations, or you may not be able to get in. We were lucky the first time we went on an early weeknight and it wasn't booked up, but we did made reservations for a Friday night. Definitely will be back! 10/10 awesome experience. Wife and I arrived to Lisbon on a Friday afternoon and tried to walk in for a dinner that night but was told we needed reservation. The gentleman was so nice about it and even offered take out. We made reservations for that Sunday and we were thankful we did! The food was outstanding (every course). Highly recommend this off the beaten path restaurant. Great food and great service! Great recommendation, it’s a bit hard to find at the moment because of the construction. Our uber left us across the road and it was not obvious that you could get to the other side of the giant hole. But glad we figured it out. Reservations are necessary for the most part. We had some great fresh fish, clams and mussels and would recommend the fish of the day and the shrimps in particular. Service was super attentive. Do go find this place.

Wonderful. This restaurant is a little hidden due to the construction around the area. As a group of anything over 4, you should go in person to make a reservation as it is always busy. We had a group of 5 and it was the best overall food and experience we have had yet. The octopus, steak, and fish of the day were highlights. The service was great and the desserts were a great way to cap off the experience. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
