We tried more than half of the menu as a table and everyone was great. The mackerel with inventive toppings, foie gras with delicious fig sorbet, and all main sources (sea brass, lamb, tartar) were just delicious, light and all had a fresh authentic take of the chef. The service was lovely and friendly as well. It is a small menu but I am sure they alternate the menu time to time so worth visiting regularly. Wow, outstanding food with excellent service. We have been twice at Klaus since we have finally discovered this hidden gem. Lovely atmosphere in cosy Santa Maria with a great price value. Definitely a must-visit!! Wow, outstanding food with excellent service. We have been twice at Klaus since we have finally discovered this hidden gem. Lovely atmosphere in cosy Santa Maria with a great price value. Definitely a must-visit!!

a very nice place in santa maria. we had lunch there and i recommend a reservation. the restaurant was completely booked. for lunch i had chicken with vegetables and a fantastic risotto with peaches. personally i would have prefered that the chicken was a bit more spicy.
