Beef Rengdang was a highlight in terms of flavour and the green chicken curry was not far behind. Although not traditional, super tasty a little sweet and mild in terms or spice. Both would have benefitted by having more sauce in order to mix with the steamed rice. The steaks we got were a little tough but the flavour and presentation would be equivalent to any other restaurant. The atmosphere on a paradise island is great and the staff impeccably nice and respectful. The staff are definitely the highlight followed by the pledge of eating on a beautiful island in Fiji . I think we all need a lift back to the bungalow 😂 We had dinner here on our last couple of days on the island, the pasta was ok, but the pizzas were amazing and so was our desert; the peanut butter and caramel tart (be sure to ask for ice cream to go with it) The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. Dined here on our first night at Plantation island.. Wow what a disappointment.. ordered the Salt and Pepper Calamari, the Chicken & Bacon Parmigiana and the Market Fish. The "Calamari" was only 5 pieces of squid rings and a small portion of salad for $27! the kids $28 meal was much better value (main + dessert + drink). The Chicken & Bacon Parmigiana looked and tasted like a chicken fillet with pizza toppings.. The fish was the highlight of the day, the kids meal was great value with a dining adult.. but the Calamari and Parmigiana let down our meal. Not good value at all. Make sure you pre-book your dining session as it got very busy during school holidays.

We had dinner here on our last couple of days on the island, the pasta was ok, but the pizzas were amazing and so was our desert; the peanut butter and caramel tart (be sure to ask for ice cream to go with it) The staff were friendly and the service was excellent.

We ordered pizza, kokoda and squid for lunch. Food is average, service was ok, waiting time around 20 mins. A place for a quick lunch fix in the island.

Our second night here and we are just absolutely blown away by the quality of the meals! We both have 20+ yrs of hospo experience back in New Zealand, and we cannot fault a single thing with the meals or service! The food is simply outstanding - I can't remember the last time we had a meal this good back in NZ.. let alone 2 nights in a row. Very much looking forward to our dining experience for the remainder of our week! A huge thank you to the Chefs and the floor staff! Just brilliant 👌
