Great experience at the Wailoaloa beach club. Staff were super friendly especially our lovely waitress “Mama” who took care of us all night. The live music was great and Nikki and her band set the vibes for the night we were there. The margarita pizza was top tier!! Huge portions and very flavoursome. Buckets of drinks were affordable and the outdoor seating area was stunning at sunset. A must when in Wailoaloa.

Beach Club Wailoaloa is a funky and fun apot right on the ocean. Big outdoor area with lots of tables and chairs, table service and big drink menu. They also have an indoor bar and pool/snooker table. Loved the live music - band was really good.

It was my last day in Fiji, and I wanted to have a nice dinner and drink on the beach. When I walked in, I was a bit lost. There was no sign to say I should wait to be seated and nobody to tell me I can go sit down. It was two for one drink Tuesday, but is only applicable to cocktails. I don't drink cocktails, but had one to make use of the offer. The first one was good and looked beautiful. The second one had less care, with all colours mixed together, and tasted a bit watered down. The music was very loud and overwhelming, so I kept moving seats as far away from the bar as possible, even if it meant I was initially burning in the sun. The food is expensive so I made very careful choices, only to be told that at 4:45pm half the menu is not available. I had to settle for $30 fish and chips, which I didn't want. How do you run out of food before dinner even started? The best part was when the power cut out and there was a bit of silence. I walked down to the water's edge and the waitress came chasing after me like I'm some sort of criminal, telling me I still have to pay. How am I going to pay if there's no power? The power came back on and I paid. Then the side gate, where I entered, was locked, and I had to walk all the way around, which is difficult for me suffering from mobility issues. Overall a very sad last day.

The Beach Club at Wailoaloa is the place to be! Fun, lively, and full of great energy with live music that sets the perfect vibe. I had my very first kava experience here, which made the night even more memorable. It’s not just a spot to eat or drink—it’s where people come together to relax, dance, and enjoy the best of Fiji’s hospitality. Whether you’re visiting Wailoaloa or Fiji in general, this is a must-stop for an unforgettable time.

Don't understand how it could have received 4.4 star ratings. 1. Service almost non existent. 2. Food was expensive (8 pieces of mussels $32) 3. Food (even a can of coke) took almost an hour. 4. Food quality average. Seating area not very clean (tables cleared but not wiped down), knife served was still covered with food (not washed properly) simple decor. 5. Cocktails were made out of a can. 6. 5 dogs wondering around and sitting next to tables begging for food. Do not recommend. Better off eating at the Olive Tree.
