This place was highly recommended for a birthday dinner by a gentleman we met earlier today. The food was well presented and incredibly delicious. The service was above and beyond. They brought me a birthday dessert and sang happy birthday! What more can you ask for? Thank you Carol and Jonathan for such a memorable experience.

We really enjoyed our dinner here! Everything was fresh and prepared perfectly. We started with the Aguachiles and it was so delicious. They let you pick your spice level. We asked for spicy and it was spicy. I was happy! My husband ordered the steak and shrimp and I had the shrimp and tuna risotto. Both were super tasty. The portions were huge! We couldn’t finish our plates but we tried! We highly recommend eating here during your stay.

Mangata is an absolute gem in Quepos! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome, genuinely kind, attentive, and full of good energy. The food? Incredible. Every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The ocean view and relaxed vibe just elevate the whole experience. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and eat here.

Every bite here was delicious. From the Ceviche..the drinks..the entree. Tenderloin cooked to perfect medium and delicious flavor. Everyone at the table enjoyed their dishes and I dont think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. Service was great and the view on the terrace or inside was lovely. It was totally worth going out in a downpour to try this restaurant on our trip to the area. Highly recommend

Small place located above a coffee shop and behind the arcade. The staff was very friendly and the service was good. The food was fantastic! The burrito was flavorful and had a great sauce. My wife got the steak sandwich and said it was one of the best she’s ever had (picture below). Food is pricey given the area but outstanding overall.
