SCAM Alert - they will bring items you haven't ordered, claim they don't accept card (they do), claim that the tip should be paid in cash upstairs and then charge a separate 10% service charge again. If only I could give this place minus stars! The view with the sunset was amazing. After that (initial five minutes) everything went downhill. We were sat in the dark for the entire meal, we had to use our phone torch to read the menu (probably for the best we couldn't see the food). They repeatedly brought wrong items and said we had ordered them (and then acted like they'd done us a favour by not including them on the bill at the end). The appetisers tasted like mystery meat with a dash of fishiness. The drinks were watery and sweet. We asked several times at the beginning of the meal if they take card which they said they did. You have to pay downstairs and the only reason the woman accepted card was because the poor couple ahead of us had already been escorted to the nearest ATM while a staff member watched on as they put their pin in (we passed them on our way back). Only after we got back to the riad, did we realise we went to the wrong place (there are several "M" rooftop restaurants within a one-block radius. Given that, I have double checked the menu here to make sure the correct restaurant is being rated - it is. If the above isn't clear - 0/10 would not recommend going anywhere near this place. I expect food poisoning shortly to top off this truly terrible experience. Beware of this place, we first came here because the review is 4.6 look good. Upon arrival we were seated upstairs with a lovely terrace however the service was very poor for 20 minutes a table had left next to us with plates still there and we are waiting for our drinks to be taken while the waiters all just sat around talking…. Then when we were leaving one of the members of staff took my partner’s phone As we said, we were at a review later, He didn’t want that and took the phone to add a review personally himself. Upon checking the bill, there was two extra drinks added. I asked for these to be removed and also they only accepted half cash half card. I didn’t have enough cash on me so I had to pay by card which was lucky. Could be a lot better if they weren’t trying to swindle people. BEWARE!! I would avoid this place. We were given the incorrect change when we paid, and I had to ask for it to be corrected - which was definitely done on purpose as I see from other reviews it is a recurring theme. It appears they are operating a sham scheme for tourists. Also be aware that they charge 10% extra on the bill, and when I queried they had told me it was a ‘tax’ and did not say it was a service charge. Edit: I can confirm that I am a real tourist from Scotland and visited this place with my fiance. I am not from a neighbouring establishment attempting to destroy their brand. To suggest something of the sort is totally dumbfounded. It appears from the response to my initial review that I have struck a nerve. There are many other reviews which detail the staff giving less change than they should. I did raise the issues in person at the desk and the person was avoidant and did not want to discuss it further.

Talking about the restaurant… poor experience. You enter the building, you climb to the terrace and you think you’re going to have a wonderful experience, location wise it’s absolutely amazing. Then comes the sad part :from welcoming to ordering you can already see the confusion.. I was pretty lucky to be served in decent time, even though the food portions were small, qualitatively poor and costly. And while I was enjoying my average dinner, all around there was people with dishes and no cutlery, people eating without drinks, finally folks just kept waiting with nothing for more than 30 minutes.. Great potential with a better management

BE WARNED. CASH ONLY BUT NOT ADVERTISED. Really disappointing. We were a group of 4, went here for the views of sunset, to get a cocktail and enjoy some good food as reviews seemed to suggest it would be good. 2 of 4 of our meals were poor, one nearly inedible. Service was adequate, one really nice waiter but it was often very slow. However, the worst thing was the underhand lying when we came to pay our bill. We had no idea it was cash only and when we came to pay they said their card machine was broken. There is one small sign in French by the cash desk that you dont have to stop at when you go in to say cash only (we didn't see it) and no staff thought to mention it on arrival. Strangely we're not carrying round 2600 di. in cash and so we were escorted to a cash machine to get out the cash (costing us hefty exchange fees). They also lied about the bill telling us it was 2600 and we could just give the cash to the guy who came to machine with us. We didn't trust this, went back to get receipt and turns out bill was actually only 2200. Also the guy who came to cash machine told us card payment had only been broken for 2 hours so seems odd they had time to do a laminated sign, it was clearly all nonsense and someone is pocketing some cash somewhere. So with 50% of food being bad and the underhand, tourist shafting lies putting a massive dampner on the end of our evening I'd stay well clear of this llace. Plenty of other places to get a cocktail and see sunset! Apparently its changed hands recently and is riding on the coat tails of old reviews. Drinks ok, food average at best. 10% service charge already added so no further tip needed.
