Incredible food and amazing service! From the starters to the entree and the dessert- everything was cooked and created with heart, innovation and a commitment to providing diners with the best experience of Oaxacan cuisine. Our attentive waitstaff team (Antonio and Antonio) went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful meal. The Mexican Sauvingnon Blanc suggested was the perfect compliment to the Camerones and the mole amalliro was incredible. We finished with the Chocolate Tamale which was so delicious it could qualify for a religious experience. This is not a restaurant to miss. From the venue to the staff to the food, it is all 5 stars plus! A fantastic experience! The food, drinks, service and atmosphere were all impeccable. A fantastic experience! The food, drinks, service and atmosphere were all impeccable. Both our waiter Salvador and our bartender Julio took great care of us. Where do I start? I was warmly welcomed by name. Yoliz greeted me warmly. It felt good walking into this room. The room was alive the music beautiful. The Calabasas enaalda and the rib chichis. It was simply amazing! Well balanced, well seasoned and made with love. My served was Antonio and Julio. Anto io speaks good English. He took his time walking me through the menu. I would highly recommend for a special night out. Simply delicious!

First time in Mexico a city. We stayed at Casa de la Luz Hotel and visited Tezontle Restaurant in the hotel. One word, PHENOMENAL!!! Breakfast, lunch and dinner, out of this world!!! Enchiladas Suizas, Huevos Rancheros, Asada Tezontle.... AMAZING!!! A must while in Mexico City!!! Service was spectacular!!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely amazing! Tezontle Restaurante delivers an unforgettable experience. The food is authentic, bursting with flavor, and clearly made with love and tradition. Every dish we tried was incredible — truly some of the best we’ve had in Mexico City. The staff are equally wonderful: warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about sharing their culture and cuisine. You can feel the heart and soul of Mexico in every detail here. Highly recommended to anyone looking for real, delicious Mexican food in a cozy and friendly setting. Can’t wait to come back!
