Parrot fish is a must to try and wahoo is also another delicious one! Still missing tuna carpaccio as well, so good! We got profiteroles for dessert but it wasnt original recipe, 2/10. Great ambiance with great customer service! They picked us up from our hotel and even dropped off as well! Everything was perfect except profiteroles and this is not so called “local” vibe place since most of customers are tourists Yep, this was my FAVORITE dinner place on the island of Moorea. I’m not a huge fish eater, but wanted to experiment on the parrot fish and my goodness, was the best fish I’ve ever had in my life! The parrot fish itself plus the French twist with the sauce is absolutely to die for. I will be dreaming of this until I return to the island to get more. Owners were super sweet too. Definitely go :) We visited Rudy’s during our honeymoon in Moorea and it was one of our favorite meals on the island. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the service is friendly and attentive, and the food is simply outstanding. The coconut Curry lamb was unique and delicious, and everything we tried was fresh and full of flavor. A perfect spot for a romantic evening. Yep, this was my FAVORITE dinner place on the island of Moorea. I’m not a huge fish eater, but wanted to experiment on the parrot fish and my goodness, was the best fish I’ve ever had in my life! The parrot fish itself plus the French twist with the sauce is absolutely to die for. I will be dreaming of this until I return to the island to get more. Owners were super sweet too. Definitely go :)

The hosts are wonderful and allowed me to dine without a reservation (I’d still recommend making one). I’m glad I did because the Crab Stuffed Parrotfish was remarkable. The ambience and service is excellent as well. This was easily the best meal I had in Moorea.

Well where to start. First by thanking Doug and his wife from North Carolina for recommending Rudy’s. We got the last table in a full Restaurant after being picked up from our Hotel by Rudy’s Dad. This family owned and run restaurant is a real treat. Watching the Team so friendly and passionate is a rarity these days and the food well it was outstanding we had the steak and the Parrot Fish among other things and they were great. A must visit for sure.
