This was my favourite meal in Portugal, the food was so good! I liked the octopus rice and sea bream best, followed by the seafood rice. They have very limited seating inside (~16 seats) so there was a long wait. They opened at 12:30 and our group arrived at 12:05, and we barely missed entering in the first wave. We ended up waiting over 1.5 hours. They don’t guarantee group seating for groups larger than 2 so our group of 4 ended up getting split into 2 groups. They accept credit card.

By far the best restaurant in Porto. There will be a wait so be prepared but it’s well worth it. My tip is be there early. Restaurant seats 14 people. Reminds me of the quaint restaurants in the Boston North End. The food was stunningly and delicious. I ordered the garlic shrimp, Seafood Açorda and Apple Meringue pie. All amazing and all suggested by the owner who is amazingly kind and attentive. I was a single traveler and made to feel right at home and welcomed.

The signature salt-grilled fish was really fresh, and the flame grilling was quite a show. The garlic clams were just average. We waited almost an hour and a half for a table—there are only eight tables with sixteen seats. The place doesn’t really have much of an atmosphere, but the food came out pretty quickly.

I arrived around 1:30pm ish and I waited about 30 mins to be seated. I was by myself and the staff/owner was so accommodating and friendly. I got the octopus dish with rice and the portion was way too generous. Apple pie was really good, nostalgic and had the right balance! Worth the wait 😊

I would say it's a must-try if you come to Porto. The taste of octopus rice is unforgettable. The crunchy flavored rice is lovely and the octopus is soft and slightly firm with a pleasant chewiness. The size is suitable for 2 people. My friend and I had waited for an hour, and it's
