The food and wine were all absolutely fantastic, especially the octopus risotto and burrata cheese salad! The seasoning was simple yet timeless. I sat on the terrace, with a fantastic view of the Dom Luis Bridge and the sunset, and musicians playing right in front of us. The staff were also fantastic, especially the manager Mimi, who was so warm and caring, making my trip to Porto even more special. I think this restaurant deserves a higher star rating; it was my favorite restaurant during my stay in Porto. Thank you!

We made a reservation, mainly because of the location - looking for something with 'decent reviews by the waterfront' and the fact that it was easy to make a reservation online. That said, we got what we were looking for - a really nice experience from our outdoor table, during golden hour/sunset, on a warm evening - that was perfect. Our food was good, nothing to complain about, but it wasn't the best meal we had in Porto, in my opinion. Service was efficient but not overly friendly. You get really close to your table neighbours here - there isn't a lot of space between tables. But the vibe is good because it's such a nice experience watching the people stroll by, seeing the sun set, listening to the buskers, etc. There are a number of restaurants right beside each other in a row, so you have to look carefully for this one. All-in-all, to be able to book ahead online, for an outdoor table, with a view, and solid food, this was a good choice.

Omg everything was fabulous and delicious! Forgot to take photos before eating!!! Flavours were perfect amount, not overpowering, could perfectly taste everything. We shared the mushroom risotto, cod pasta, cod fitters (no photos ate too fast) and prawns. Service was fantastic. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive.

We chanced by this restaurant from the reviews and wanting a view by the river. The experience was great. The food was prepared with a subtle and balanced taste which was not overpowering, which is unlike what we have tried so far in our trip. We ordered pasta and risotto and they were all great. Fries were freshly cut and fried. Remember to get the dessert.

A Wonderful Dinner After the Douro River Cruise We were two women visiting after enjoying a cruise along the Douro River. We didn’t have a reservation and were initially told the place was fully booked. However, after waiting about 10 minutes, we were lucky enough to get a table inside — which was great, especially because it was quite cold outside. (If you’re visiting during high season, we definitely recommend making a reservation!) We ordered a variety of dishes, 1. 6 oysters 2. Burrata salad with homemade pesto 3. Bacalhau à Brás (after the first dishes arrived) 4. Oyster pasta 5. Nero risotto with grilled octopus 6. Shrimp risotto 7. Nuts, cheese & pumpkin jam (+ 8.Fried codfish) While all the dishes were delicious, our absolute favorites were: 2. Burrata Salad We often order burrata wherever we go, but this one was exceptional. The homemade basil sauce complemented the creamy burrata perfectly — a standout dish. 3. Bacalhau à Brás We were intrigued by its unique appearance: finely shredded potatoes topped with a black seafood paste and a raw egg yolk. It turned out to be incredibly flavorful, with an amazing depth of umami from the seafood. 5. Black Risotto with Grilled Octopus The grilled octopus was some of the best we’ve ever had — tender and perfectly cooked. The risotto itself was rich, savory, and simply delicious. We also think the cheese & pumpkin jam listed under desserts would be perfect as a wine pairing or appetizer. Finally, what truly elevated our dining experience was the service by Dante♡♡♡ who was friendly, attentive, and made us feel warmly welcomed. Dante, do you remember the two Japanese women who ordered so many dishes? 😊 Thank you for the wonderful night and unforgettable food!
