We went to on a Saturday. Despite it being busy, we were seated quickly. The server( the older guy with the glasses, was very welcome and friendly. The food came quick. I got the hot chicken, the bread was slightly black and the fries lacked flavor. I also got the kit kat moka, which was one of the best drinks I ever tried. The service was A1 hence I'm putting the 5 stars. I will definitely be back to this place when I am in the area. Honestly, amazing. I was very nice to arrive to Quebec and have a great meal to begin our trip here. My daughter is not too good to eat out of the house, but she was very happy with the food (everything was at the good cooking point and with delicate flavors). The waiter recommended us a dish for us adults that was just great… All was great! Stumbled across this place when walking along Rue du Petit Champlain, and saw the statue of the pig! After seeing the menu, particularly their unique versions of Eggs Benedict, we went here for brunch on the last day of our stay. It has two entrances : one on Rue due Petit Champlain and main entrance on Rue Dalhousie. The restaurant has great character and the service was excellent. Upon being seated we were given complimentary tasters size glasses of a fruit smoothie which was a nice touch. The menu has its usual breakfast staples, but also more unique Quebecois-themed options. I got the Eggs Benny with duck confit and goat cheese (picture included) . My wife got the regular Eggs Benny with ham -but rather than the usual slices of ham you get, her dish had a pulled ham that was much tastier. Solid place for breakfast/brunch place with some more unique options.

The food a little underwhelming for the price and when compared to other restaurants around Old Montreal. The pork chop was a little dry and the vegetables a little over cooked. The duck confit salad was also quite dry but the fried goat’s cheese was pretty delicious. It’s a decent place for locals looking for a filling meal as the portions are huge but if you’re a tourist with limited days and meals in Quebec City, I think there are better restaurants to try.

We had the 4 pilons canard and the cotes XXL. The duck was the starter and it was delicious with the sauce, the main was the pork ribs which was so tender and the meat was falling of the ribs. Perfectly done . Portion was huge with the salads. Highly recommended 👍
