If you ever wanted to dine in the clouds of Rio and feel like a travel-executive doing it in style, Aprazível is your spot. High above the city in the bohemian hillside of Santa Tereza, the restaurant opens has great views of rooftops, bay, and that unmistakable Carioca skyline. From the moment you arrive, you get the kind of hospitality that knows how to relax while it impresses. The staff were warm, attentive, and clearly proud of the space, an open-air treehouse-style retreat where you’re dining among the jungle canopy and city lights. It’s elevated casual: timber and stone, ambient lighting, gentle breeze through leaves, and that amazing skyline. The menu showcases Brazilian creativity and flair. Their house-famous açaí guacamole was fresh, unexpected, and rich without being heavy. It’s not your Oaxacan guacamole and that’s okay. The vibe carried on with the main offerings, each one rooted in local flavor but styled for the modern table. Pair that with a caipiroska de maracujá, and you have drink-game and relaxation on point. A friend booked this place for lunch. It was our first time eating Brazilian food, so we didn’t know what to expect. We were extremely satisfied with the food, service and quality. Being surrounded in luscious greenery made the whole experience even more pleasant. Highly recommend locals and especially foreigners giving this place a go. Beautiful restaurant with good food in Santa Theresa neighborhood. We walked in and were wowed by how big this place is. The ambience is on point. We were promptly seated and ordered the main course seafood catch of the day and another prawn dish with coconut rice. Both the dishes were fresh and tasted great. We ordered their chocolate dessert and that was amazing! Service was great. Food was good. Ambience was perfect. It is an expensive reataurant. One of the most expensive meals I had during my trip in Rio and I dint feel it was that worth the price hence reduced a star. Overall give it a try!

This place was very good. Up in the hills in Rio, with an amazing view/sunset. The vibe is amazing 10/10 and the food is very good 9/10. The tropical fish and the lamb shoulder were very good. We spent a little over 600 BR total for the four dishes.

This is a magnificent multi-level restaurant in the picturesque Santa Teresa district of Rio. The menu has a great selection of items inspired from different parts of Brazil such as Minas Gerais and Amazonas. There are plenty of vegetarian options. The restaurant also has a nice variety of caipirinhas and other cocktails as well as fresh juices. I had the guacamole acai and burrata and the guava cheesecake. All the items were delicious. The service staff was courteous, efficient and my server spoke some English- the menu was both in Portuguese and English. The ambiance was casual comfortable and cozy. The restrooms were well maintained. There is an elevator available to those with impaired mobility. I highly recommend this restaurant for its exquisite food and drinks and for the spectacular views of Rio from it’s location.
