We were originally planning to go to "La Nuova Piazetta" but it was crowded, fully booked and a queue outside. So we looked for the closest highly rated restaurant and we came across this one. The atmosphere was much more calm and enjoyable, the service was great, the waiter very pleasant and the food was absolutely wonderful. We are very happy we went here instead as it was an incredibly pleasant experience. We had two pastas, one salad and one pizza. All of which were magnificent. Highly recommend the salad with feta cheese! I had a couple vegetarian dishes and vegetarian pizza - they were wonderful. PS: we asked for some extra parmeggiano / parmesan for the pasta and pizza 😉 highly recommended if you love some good parmesan. The wine was also good! 5/5, would definitely come again. Nice little walk from the Colosseum. Tucked away on its own narrow street- it was away from the big tourists crowds. We could just sit and enjoy. We came because of the name- we had a group member named MaDonna but so happy as the dough was fantastic- freshly cooked and prepared. Easily ate the entire pizza because it was so tasty. Amazing place! After a long walk at the Roman forum and the Colosseum, you can eat here a delicious pizza. You can feel that the people that come here are mostly locals, so it's not a tourist trap. Pizza is amazing and service too. Hope to visit soon again.

Nice little walk from the Colosseum. Tucked away on its own narrow street- it was away from the big tourists crowds. We could just sit and enjoy. We visited Pizzeria della Madonna dei Monti recently and tried a vegetarian pizza and the Diavola. The pizzas looked promising but overall fell flat — both lacked punch and distinctive flavor. The dough also didn’t taste fully cooked and left the pies feeling a bit doughy rather than crisp. Edges were burned, but the base tasted undercooked. On the plus side, the table had a great spicy oil and crushed chili flakes that helped salvage each slice. Decent spot if you want a casual bite close to Roman Forum, but I’d hope for better seasoning and a more reliably baked crust next time.

Such a lovely place! Incredibly friendly personal, smaller cozy interior. All the dishes were delicious. We are going to come back to taste pizza napoli !
