We always eat here whenever we are in Shanghai! The food is always good as is the service and the host: Claudio is really friendly and knowledgeable! The wine list is great with a huge selection! We were very much looking forward to the dinner at your restaurant, unfortunately we were totally disappointed. We ordered the lasagne and the 600gm tenderloin. The lasagne was a total failure. Poor balance between ragu filling and bechamel sauce. Way way way too much bechamel s sauce and hardly enough ragu filling. The pasta sheets were overcooked and soggy, the taste in the mouth was soft floury n starchy. We ordered medium rare for our tenderloin and it was more like rare please look at the picture. The red wine sauce was guey not even smooth, the flavoured oil whatever it is was pathetic. We saw the pizza ordered by the table next to us and it was a sad pizza, poor showing of an Italian pizza. The only thing that was good was the wine and the great service. We spent almost 1,400 yuan, totally not worth it. Highly recommend not to dine at Goodfellas. Food was really good! Don’t forget to check dianping for deals! Definitely saved a lot of money with it. All dishes were very good. The eggplant parmigiana was phenomenal😍, spaghetti vongole was perfectly al dente, pizza was a good portion, and the black cod was very good. It’s a little pricey, but coming from SF I’ve definitely paid more for not good food. You get what you pay for here! Yummy food! This place is a must! Did a walk-in close to 6pm, but the place filled up quickly; definitely recommend a reservation!

Unfortunately, the pizza was a big disappointment—overly watery and lacking in flavor. I had high hopes, but it really fell short. While the place itself has a nice ambiance, the food quality just didn’t match the setting. I wouldn’t recommend going there, especially if you're looking for a good pizza experience.

Absolutely a great meal! Went there the other night after looking for something Italian. Clody, the Italian manager, took care of our table and was very attentive. We shared a pizza, the lasagna and the veal tuna. All very tasty and good value, especially considering the location being on the Bund. Thanks Goodfellas, we will surely be back in future!
