The staff were friendly and helpful in explaining the menu and recommending dishes, which made ordering easy even for non-locals. The food was delicious and served quickly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for good halal food in Shanghai. Came here for the halal Lanzhou beef noodle. Ate here for dinner twice in my 3 nights (April 2025). Love the braised beef noodle. Prices are reasonable. Looks like a family run business. To get here on Didi, type 313 Fengyang Road (check correct location on map) and they should drop you right opposite the shop. Tucked away in the heart of Shanghai is a humble, family-run gem: Qingmeiju Muslim Restaurant. The ramen noodles here are absolutely to die for. It’s rich, comforting, and packed with flavour. My son and I loved it so much, we came back two nights in a row. If you’re ever in town, do yourself a favour and stop by.

Came here for the halal Lanzhou beef noodle. Ate here for dinner twice in my 3 nights (April 2025). Love the braised beef noodle. Prices are reasonable. Looks like a family run business. Tucked away in the heart of Shanghai is a humble, family-run gem: Qingmeiju Muslim Restaurant. The ramen noodles here are absolutely to die for. It’s rich, comforting, and packed with flavour. My son and I loved it so much, we came back two nights in a row. If you’re ever in town, do yourself a favour and stop by.

The place is now called Suolaiman Lan Zhou Beef Noodles and it is halal. The beef noodles are great and highly recommended. It is a short walking distance behind Park Hotel. From People’s Square metro station take Exit 9, walk up to the left of Park Hotel and take the first left turn The place opens early (6am apparently) and closes late. I personally have eaten there at 1030pm and I think they close around midnight

Maybe one of the better halal Muslim restaurants in Shanghai. Service was slow and toilets very unclean. Food was overall not bad and prices a bit on the higher side
