This place was tecommended by a fried who lived and worked in Shanghai for several years. We had a sensational meal anchored by the truffle fried rice with beef. It was a big serve for two but it was so good and we managed to polish it off. Our other three dishes were a Dai salad with sa sauce. The light and airy deep-fried tofu and the piquant sauce was a nice mix of texture and taste. The vegetables were very fresh. We also enjoyed the diced tomato on aubergine that was seasoned with cumin and coroander. Our other choice was a bean jelly dish hose dressing was a little like a pesto and had crunch with the inclusion of roasted peanuts. We washed it all down with a pot of pu'er tea. Service was very good with the wait staff attentive but not intrusive. We loved the decor too. We walked in at noon without reservations on a weekday. I'm told evening and weekends are very busy. Lost Heaven is on my must-do list when I visit Shanghai again. Lost Heaven Bar is a hidden gem in Shanghai — you go up a staircase and step into a beautifully decorated space with dark, moody lighting that instantly feels special. The atmosphere is cozy and a little mysterious, perfect for a date or a relaxed evening out. The service is excellent and attentive, though they do clear plates very quickly (so don’t be surprised if your dishes disappear fast). The food, however, is the real star — honestly a 10+. Every dish we tried was full of flavor and clearly made with care. If you’re in Shanghai, don’t miss this place. It’s worth the visit and worth the money. Came here 2nd time after many years. The ambience, settings and food are almost the same. Presentation is really good, not just the dining but even their toilet is giving you a really matching vibes.. Lost Heaven is a Yunnan cuisine and don't worry, you can find serious delicious food inside. Since we only have 3 pax, we make the best of our dinner here. Some of the food that we ordered were the yunnan wild vege cake which looks very ordinary but not the taste (a good experience of course); we also had the dali sytle chicken with bellpeppers & onions.. is not spicy, so we love it!; yunnan eggplant & taufu salad; Tibet roasted lamb... and i forgot 1 more dish.. too long ago.. hahaha.. anyway it will be an awesome experience for those who wants good food with great ambience.

Whatever I say does not do justice to the taste and the ambience of this restaurant just wow! Raddison Collection’s concierge suggested this restaurant to us and honestly the 21 minutes walk was totally worth it. At first when we reached we thought there were no customers but as we went to the second floor we were like wowww! Never judge a book by its cover! If you are in Shanghai, looking for filling and delicious food, this is the place!!!!
