Arrived to our Saturday night reservation on time at 7:30p and restaurant was already extremely busy. For starters we ordered the Tuna Carpaccio and Escargot Nems. Tuna Carpaccio was well seasoned, but lacked a little acidity to our liking. Escargot Nems were extremely flavorful. For entrees, Duck Breast and Filet with a morel mushroom cream sauce. Both dish were delicious, and generously served. I was stuffed up by dessert time, but couldn't skip the fresh fruits with an orange liquor sabayon. Wine list was nice- wished it had a few more smaller wineries, but we managed to find a gem from the Loire valley. Really attentionate service. A very recommended place. One if not the best meal we had in French Polynesia.

Very tasty french restaurant with a twist. Quality you get for the price is very good. Service is friendly and good. Keep in mind the portions are big 😉

The Grillardin is an exceptional restaurant that truly deserves the highest praise. From the moment you walk in, you are welcomed with warm hospitality and an inviting atmosphere. A shade disappointing 👎👎👎We wait an hour between the apetizers, the entrees, the bread and the main dish. The service was good, but not « gastronomique » as French understanding. The owner wasn’t welcoming, showing our table with her fingers and said « You table is on the corner », and keep talking with the waitress. The food was good but not like it used to be. The wine we took matched perfectly with the meat 👌The desert was really good. 👍The speciallity of Le Grillardin is « tarte aux pommes fine », it’s an apple pie with a thin crust, really tasty and yummy, with a vanilla ice cream. At the end, the owner asked us if we were satisfied of everything, as if she did’nt notice that we spent 3 hours waiting for the dish. When we answered no, she difdn’t apolozige and wished us a good night. For sure we will never go back to this restaurant.

What a surprise having lunch in this excellent restaurant...we walked by just by coincidence (the street isn't the nicest one) but behind that white dor we had a wonderful lunch. The menu offers a variety of traditional french plates with some local influence and they have a very good wine list. I deeply enjoyed my small bottle of Gewutztraminer which fit perfectly with my foie gras and scallops (also with foie gras). Absolutely recommended.
