This place is a hidden gem, they don’t speak English but we manage with a little French and their hospitality. Everything on the menu is delicious but the best is the Poisson Cru. One of the best I ate during my stay in the island. They serve you bread with butter and jam 100/10 First food experience in Tahiti and this did not fail us. Highly recommend; they only speak French (like the rest of Tahiti) but w managed to get our order through. The hot chocolate and fruit juice were not upto the mark but the food itself was excellent! Wow, good job Google reviewers! This is a little gem. Being from the US, I was expecting more of a bar and grill but it feels like a cafe per US standards. We were greeted very graciously by Isabella, who does her best to speak English for us, and also is the shop owner. She gave us fresh house baked rolls and a small cold tuna salad before we ordered. I had the very fresh raw tuna special (diced tuna and avocado basically) and the hubs had a hamburger and a side pancake. The food is delicious! Special mention of the pancake. It is thick, 1 1/2" or so and maybe 4" diameter. We love pancakes and it had the best flavor and texture we have ever had. I wish I could take them home! There were also some delicious sounding items such as lamb and duck which really elevate the menu beyond cafe. If you are looking for good elevated food with super friendly service, this spot is for you.

If you’re looking for a more traditional American breakfast you can try Moko. The employees were very friendly, one spoke English and the restaurant is clean. The omelette was very good. The potatos it came with are more like potato chips. The 4 pancake dish can feed 2 people and are a bit thick and cakey but if that’s what you like… Overall, it’s pretty good.

Best breakfast in Tahiti!! We landed on this place thanks to the Google maps reviewer community. It did not disappoint. The coffee was amazing (something I had been craving all week). We had the omelette special (the eggs were perfect) and the fried local fish special- also perfect. While we were waiting they brought us some fresh out of the oven banana cake- I’d return just for that. Heavenly!! Menu is in French so use Google translate though our waitress did speak perfect English and was lovely. Definitely a place to look for.
