The service here was great. The staff were very attentive and friendly and the setting was beautiful and elegant. I had the Ahmarina Signature Salmon with Lychee Love Mocktail and Chocolate Cake as pictured. The flavours were deep and intense which I appreciated. A small adjustment to add some freshness to the sauce would take it up a notch and some textural adjustments to the ganache on the chocolate cake. Overall the experience was quite pleasant and I will visit again.

This restaurant is a true testament to the excellence that can be achieved by Trinidadian establishments, consistently delivering high-quality food with warm, professional service. Other restaurants could take note! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and exactly as expected, with generous portions that satisfy every time. There is a wide variety of vegetarian options, making it a great choice for all diners. Takeaway orders are carefully packed in durable containers, ensuring your meal arrives just as it should. The staff are consistently polite, professional, and helpful—whether in person, over the phone, or via WhatsApp. They are patient in explaining menu options and prepare food quickly, which is always impressive. Whether dining in or ordering takeaway, this restaurant never disappoints and consistently maintains its high standard.

The atmosphere is very welcoming! The meal came out in a timely fashion and was so delicious. Really authentic in spicing and taste - great menu descriptions. Will be my favored place from now.

From the wait staff to the food, i was left extremely impressed. The attention to detail by the server was greatly appreciated and made for an overall pleasant dining experience. The stand-out dishes for me were definitely the Kerala Fried Chicken (KFC) along with the Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Naan. The green thai curry was very coconut forward and a bit overpowering for my preference but still tasty. The portion sizes were also very adequate to fill 2 persons easily. No complaints.

Halal Certified = Happy Customer Ahmarina has some of the most attentive and accommodating wait staff I’ve encountered in Trinidad (outside of our top hotels). Patient, informative and knowledgable. They also pack up the leftovers really neatly (which for me matters). The appetizers my family tried were both filling and tasty- we had the Hong Kong mushrooms and Kerala Fried Boneless Chicken. Both were great. I’d return to have more starters and try a new mocktail. We ordered just one - a Mai Tai Mojito and it was both delicious and excellently prepared. (However please note, at around $75 the prices of the mocktails could easily run your budget way up. It is priced at the same cost of Alcoholic drinks but I assume it’s based on the quality of the ingredients used in the prep.) Our mains were okay: not bad but not as memorable as the appetizers or the mocktail. We ordered a few south indian dishes and shared. However, the Aloo Kulcha was delicious. I was disappointed the coffee machine was not working and while they had masala chai made from scratch, it was not the best I’ve had here in Trinidad- it was a bit weak. My suggestion if you’re on a budget: try several appetizers, skip the hot beverages and enjoy a mocktail instead of dessert.
