Have been wanting to come here for ages.Got the shaved asparagus salad, octopus and potatoes, market fish with lemon thyme crust, braised beef and arancini. Everything was amazing although the arancini was a little salty for my liking, but each to their own. Amazing service, attentive but not intrusive. Would love to come back and try the pasta and pizza. Ombra has been our family favorite since we moved to Wellington 10years ago! We try to go early for their walk ins otherwise highly recommend booking a table. Definitely try their duck risotto, it’s to die for! Maybe the best pasta I’ve had outside of Italy — absolutely delicious! Great location, fair prices, and lovely seating. The staff were very friendly. I’ll definitely be back

Ombra has been our family favorite since we moved to Wellington 10years ago! We try to go early for their walk ins otherwise highly recommend booking a table. Definitely try their duck risotto, it’s to die for!

Maybe the best pasta I’ve had outside of Italy — absolutely delicious! Great location, fair prices, and lovely seating. The staff were very friendly. I’ll definitely be back

An absolutely divine dining experience at Ombra! We had a wonderful evening full of delicious food, friendly service and a cozy ambience. The food was reasonably priced, but outstandingly delicious. I would highly recommend the Baccala Crostini, it was to die for!! 10/10 experience, I highly recommend and a must visit when in Wellington!

Had an amazing dinner at Ombra! The braised beef pizza was absolutely delicious — crispy base, rich toppings, and the flavors just melted together perfectly. The polenta chips were fun and crispy, and the octopus risotto was creamy with a nice kick. Great wine, cozy vibe, and friendly staff. Highly recommend this spot if you’re in Wellington! 🍷🍕
