Driftwood Restaurant is a great establishment with a welcoming ambiance. The food was good. The crab cakes were definitely our favorite item here. Would surely come back for them as they were simply sublime. Do ask for the hot sauce as it was amazing with the crab cakes and the other items. The sangria was well made. The service was friendly, courteous, and attentive. Restaurant patrons were able leave writings on the walls to commemorate their visit and etch themselves into the establishment. Very cool aspect. Would definitely recommend when in Aruba. Our server was so nice and accommodating, food came up quickly and piping hot. I tried the fish soup and he brought some papaya hot sauce to add to it. Great call! The escargot is a can’t miss appetizer and the creole shrimp with a peach sauce was also great. We visited the restaurant after our fishing charter as they offered to cook what we had caught. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all fantastic. The servers all work together to ensure that everyone has what they need. I would highly recommend Driftwood to anyone visiting the island.

Driftwood Restaurant is a great establishment with a welcoming ambiance. The food was good. The crab cakes were definitely our favorite item here. Our server was so nice and accommodating, food came up quickly and piping hot. I tried the fish soup and he brought some papaya hot sauce to add to it. Great call! The escargot is a can’t miss appetizer and the creole shrimp with a peach sauce was also great.

We visited the restaurant after our fishing charter as they offered to cook what we had caught. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all fantastic. The servers all work together to ensure that everyone has what they need. I would highly recommend Driftwood to anyone visiting the island.

Driftwood – Aruba Driftwood is a true gem in the heart of Aruba! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance captured the island’s rustic charm, with walls adorned in actual driftwood—guests can even carve their names into it, which we did! It’s such a fun and personal touch, especially since we plan to return with our family in the future. The cocktails were absolutely spot on—expertly mixed and perfect for unwinding after a beach day. We started with the fish soup, which was rich, comforting, and full of flavor. It felt like a warm hug in a bowl. But the highlight was definitely the pan-seared catch of the day. Perfectly cooked, delicately seasoned, and so fresh it practically melted in our mouths. Every bite reminded us why seafood is best enjoyed island-side. Driftwood isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an experience—laid-back, authentic, and welcoming. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Aruba. We’ll definitely be back!
